Sick bike bro, I think thumpstar is a good option but they also make bad ass bikes like Piranha, YCF, Pisterpro, that may be in a similar price range. Still IMO klx110, Crf110, or Ttr110 is the best option if you have the budget for a bike that will last a long time
@@WhiteGravey dont forget getting a whole new pit bike in a couple of years. Just look at the ssr in what shape it was after just a couple of years. And I still see lots of 125s running good after 10+ years....
@@Jackemeister yup im pretty sure tons of people know how to rebuild engines. i mean most cant even change the oil after every couple rides but im pretty sure t hey can take apart the top end and plop in a new one.
I have a 190 thumpstar. It's a cool bike for the price. I suggest anyone buying one first thing to do is to regrease wheel bearings and suspension linkage bearings before you even put any time on it. Mine had zero grease in any of the bearings. Next up reroute fuel line straight from tank to carb. The stock routing caused mine too lean out and 'run out of fuel' so to speak. Bog etc.
I got a new thumpstar 140 and they fixed the bog, and the air filter actually has a cheap box. Just have to tighten everything every time I ride, everything shakes loose and I ride so much I have to change the oil once or twice a week and it's black.
My ssr 140 has all that shit. At least the 2021. It has 14 and 17 wheels. Same suspension. Same mount. Inverted adjustable forks. Better brakes. Adjustable rear spring. The skid plate is awesome.
Hey bro you’re awesome I’m from Sydney Australia been watching your vids there tops 👍🏻 you pop wheelies like it’s nothing awesome rider, I just ordered a 140 Tsx BW comes next week excited much 🤗
I’ve owned a ssr125 because of your video and it seems like they have more get up and go, I could easily do 3rd gear wheelies on the ssr and so did you, it seems like it didn’t wanna do second gear wheelies? I’ve since gotten a crf150r as a pit bike and about love it!
Does the THUMPSTAR come built or do you have to build it? Cuz I might get one soon and I’m scared if i have to build it I might build it the wrong way so I need some tips on the THUMPSTAR so I can get one
I say get the SSR only if you're on a relatively low budget, say $1500 or less. Other than that, I definitely say companies like Thumpstar, Pitster Pro, Piranha, YCF, or even Braaap
Half size between average 110 and average 125 .. The Kurz fs110 is all round 10cm seat height to length width over any Equivalent TTR110, CRF110, KLX110, DRZ110 framework.
Lol... 7:35 you mention the "Peacock", which is actually the "Petcock" that is the valve to turn the fuel flow on and off for those that don't know. Not busting your huevos or knit picking, just got a kick out of it.
Which is the better over all buy the Thumpstar 140cc or the 190cc looks like everything is the same except for the larger engine which jacks the price up another 1100 bucks
clicked on your link for the thumpster they only ship to dealers and the closest 1 is pa but im in ny longisland and have no truck or trailer to pick it up if i was to go go to pa. Also they would probably add 500$ or more just because it's a dealer meaning the ssr is 3 times cheaper not just half the price
