- Singer Sarah Brightman tells George Stroumboulopoulos about getting married to Andrew Lloyd Webber back in 1984. The couple decided to keep their nuptials a secret.
One person knew, though... The Queen of England. And Queen Elizabeth II was the first to congratulate the new couple on their marriage.
Andrew and Sarah are no longer married, but they seem to like each other a lot.

I've been disappointed in Sarah over the years. She allowed the fame to lead her into the usual modern nonsense.
Sarah is my favorite singer along with Celtic Woman. However, show me in the Bible where being a "free spirit" is grounds for divorce. It isn't. Marriage is God's covenant(originating from God Genesis 2), not man's and therefore is to be honored and kept, not thrown away by man's own choosing.

And your belief doesn't make God's word truth to everybody either read art 18 of the universal declaration of human rights "everybody has the right to freedom of though conscience and religion"
