    Thank you! I purchased this today and could not figure out why the touchscreen wouldn't work. Didn't realize I had to use the usb cord. I use this with my acer S7 and it works beautifully.

    At around 45 degrees some of the vibrancy washes away, but those VA panel blacks are astonishing!! So deep n tight!

    hi,
    is this possible for character drawing using stylize pen or other? like wacom?

    • @CyberCatTechnologies
      @CyberCatTechnologies  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually, if you would like something for drawing alone, I recommend a plotter as they are much more accurate and are also able to measure stroke pressure. The excess investment just for the touch screen alone may or may not be ideal.

    • @DanTDMJace

      I don’t know, I think it only works with Windows 7.

  • @coolkidloco7636
    @coolkidloco7636 10 ปีที่แล้ว

    So how does this work? You need a monitor for it to work, like you can't just connect it to the power and bamm it's working? I still don't understand, also can you connect it to a wireless keypad and mouse I'm a student and I was planning on getting this for google drive and powerpoints etc. but as seen in the comments you need another computer to connect it to or what? Please respond. I do not have another computer or monitor?

    • @CyberCatTechnologies
      @CyberCatTechnologies  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is a monitor with touch screen. So you will use it just like any other monitor that you have used in the past, except this allows you to touch the screen.

      No, the stand allows the monitor to only stay in Landscape.

    Our family is thinking to buy one and we r thinking to but this one but 1 question first can we use a keyboard and mouse with this and what kind of monitor is this?

    • @CyberCatTechnologies
      @CyberCatTechnologies  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Its a LED touch screen monitor. And NO you can NOT use a keyboard and mouse with the monitor. Its not a stand alone system, you need a separate desktop (or laptop, etc) to use this with.

      In defense of the AOC, it is still working although I gave it away. While it was nothing fancy, it was a reasonable office item that served faithfully. Cheers

      +Manjeet kumar singh
      Hi, a Thunderbolt to HDMI converter will work. With regards to touch capability, I can not answer that as I did not test that with a mac nor does the official specification mention compatibility with mac.
      Please contact Dell for further information.

    is there a way i can get a pen working with this with pressure sensitivity and all that?

    • @CyberCatTechnologies
      @CyberCatTechnologies  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The screen is not pressure sensitive. Though if you can find a pen that is active and measures pressure, perhaps you can get the two to work together.

      You can NOT directly connect via WIFI or Ethernet. There are devices that will allow you to do so, but the monitor will not connect to a network out of the box.

    DO I NEED A TOWER ? OR IS IT WIRELESS?

    • @CyberCatTechnologies
      @CyberCatTechnologies  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Its not a stand alone system, you need to connect it to a source like a PC...

    • @CyberCatTechnologies
      @CyberCatTechnologies  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, this is not a wireless device. You need a desktop or laptop or anything at all that has a compatible video output (HDMI, DVI, VGA). And you also need a USB port to make the touch screen to work. If you have a wireless video transmitter that way you can get it to work at a distance, lets say across a room, but it does not come with that features built in..

    • @CyberCatTechnologies
      @CyberCatTechnologies  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The touch sensitivity is not so sharp to be good for art work. Further more its not pressure sensitive like a plotter. I did use paint to draw for demonstration, but that is about as far as you can go with it. While it is a good monitor, it will not replace a quality plotter.

    • @lisamalick7125

      You are upset at me. Seriously?
      Everything that needs to be explained about connectivity has been done so clearly in the video, and also I advise you to consider the specification before purchasing anything. If you have doubts, ask the seller you are about to purchase from. Seems like you are blaming me for something publicly, about something that was not my agreement with you to begin with.
      To give you more information - The product you are looking at is a MONITOR only with touch capability. That is all. It does not have any network capability, nor does it have any operating system built into it. You use it with a desktop or a laptop - connected via appropriate cable.
      I hope this answers your question. If you have doubt, go and ask at a computer store, show them the model number. Talk to them as much as you need to till you understand the matter fully. However, they may tell you to either buy something or leave, since they do not owe you this service. Neither do I.

    "ts not a stand alone system, you need to connect it to a source like a PC"
    WISH THEY WOULD OF EXPLAINED THIS TOUCH SCREEN A LITTLE BETTER,I THOUGHT IT WAS A STAND ALONE WHERE AS I DIDN'T HAVE TO BUY A TOWER OR LAPTOP.I AM SENDING IT BACK NOW.I BLAME DELL FOR SHOWING THERE VIDEO LIKE THATS ALL YOU NEEDED.
    WHAT A WASTE OF TIME.

    • @CyberCatTechnologies
      @CyberCatTechnologies  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is a monitor with touch capability and nothing more. It is not smart as in running Windows or Android or any OS for that matter. But if I may ask, can you describe what got you to think that it is a Stand Alone System. Perhaps in the following videos I'll keep in mind to cover the subject matter in a different way as to people are not confused.

    • @Diffide
      @Diffide 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Salesberg No dude, she is saying she isn't smart enough to note that it was a monitor before she bought it. Not your fault. It's hers. And also Dells a little bit for not making it so clear to the people that aren't that "Tech Savvy".
