When our uncle passed away, we were sent to clean out his house of his belongings. He had boxes of old vinyl records, so we took them to the local pawn shop, and they didn't want them. The pawn shop did buy one album, a The Beatles record still in cellophane, for a dollar. They told us just to throw away the rest of the vinyl records in their dumpster out back, if we wanted to.
@@rocknroller77 We listed the unwated records on Craigslist for free. Even then, it took about two weeks for someone to take them off our hands. As for The Beatles record, I don't collect records and don't like The Beatles, it was just one less thing that I had to take back to my house.

I'm kinda sad & envious of these nostalgia. I love there happiness over it BUT the MISERY of being burdened with collection of antiquated.
