The BEST FOOD at Disney’s Lunar New Year 2020 | Disney California Adventure

- We went to Disney California Adventure to celebrate Lunar New Year for our very first time! We rang in the Year of the Mouse by attempting to eat as much as we could and to take in the sights and sounds of the festivities taking place January 17 to February 9, 2020! Here is everything we ate (all of the prices can be found in the video):

We also got a chance to see Mulan's Lunar Procession and check out some of the festival merchandise. This is such a short, but sweet festival & it is only happening for a few weeks, so hurry!

I remember sitting in front of the TV with our TV dinners on our TV trays, watching Walt Disney talk about the building of disneyland. Also, the in-depth discussions we had at school regarding each individual episode. Growing up in western New York I knew there was no way I would ever be able to visit disneyland. I have been so fortunate to live in Southern California we’re good part of my life visiting Walt’ kingdom once a year on my birthday. I watch a lot of Disneyland TH-cam bloggers, and I can say by far your present Disneyland with the excitement I feel each time I get to go. Thanks for all of your hard work.

Do you guys have aink to Ordinary Adventures tshirts? My son wants one.
I’m disabled and have a service dog, I checked the guidelines at the park and I can bring him in, but I am afraid of crowds and I wouldn’t want to overstimulate my dog, or have to be answering why I have him all day or being stared at. My disability is not one that shows like being blind or deaf or in a wheelchair so I always have people think I’m just bringing in my pet or they want to know what’s wrong with me.
So given all that though I love Disneyland and live 20 minutes away I just can’t bring myself the courage to go and I’m missing so much. So I live vicariously through your videos . Wishing I was with you. I wouldn’t have anyone to go with and I’d be all alone all day and that used to be fun but now not so much.
I’ve seen many service dogs and people don’t judge..I say go for it! Try to go when it’s not as busy for a few hours to see how it goes
I am also year of the pig. Pig is intelligent and well thought of. But I grew to like it as you did.

It was so great to meet you guys in person next to the Mickey and Minnie photo op. Thanks for taking some time to visit. I love Lunar New Year's combination of entertainment and food. Its amazing to see so many folks coming out to be part of it. You'd usually expect some folks to pass on Disney's interpretation of cultural celebrations but the crowds show otherwise. Y'all continue to be one of my favorite channels, even though I've only been to Disneyland once (at 7) and never thought I'd go again. Y'all have made me want to go, though, so I am planning a trip.
Question for anyone who has gone: I've always wondered if Lunar New Year feels celebratory and educational, or a bit appropriative and exploitative? Like, the merch, signage, and character costumes seem a bit on the stereotypical side. But it may just be my cynicism talking here. It looked like a lot of fun, and the procession was beautiful!

I went to Disneyland today and it was first time I went to Galaxys Edge and I gotta say I loved it as a Star Wars fan seeing the ships in person was amazing as well as riding smugglers run which was also amazing. I built my droid and I was lucky to get the last spot to build a lightsaber without a reservation and it’s all thanks to you guys you’re videos really made me want to get the droid and lightsaber thank you❤️

I went in 2018 and they had these amazing pork soup dumplings and egg tarts. Sucks that they didn't have those anymore. It was cool because that year they had 1 Korean booth, 1 Chinese booth and 1 Vietnamese booth.
The pastries are almost all Disney versions our local CA Chinese bakery staples, yes including the hot dog one 😊
