Mitsuyo Maeda was a judoka, that's the only truth. You can see in all the videos that BJJ is much closer to Judô, than to all of this styles of ancient jujutsu.
Its not going to be over ,its totally infiltrated mma and is a major part of it and rightly so.The gracies were no wrstlers ,they never could wrestle.BJJ is great for the martial arts,its made many instructors wake up and start teaching properly
@newtubetubetube but... jiujitsu is older than the judo. Tenjin Shinyō-ryū teached jujitsu to Jigoro Kano. Gracies learn jujitsu from Mitsuyo Maeda. Both have same close origins.
Judo was sometimes referred to as Kano Jiu-jitsu EVERYWHERE! including Japan well into the 20th century.

as you been told already bjj isnt jujitsu and is nothing like it.
