Hi I found the vid very helpful, but haven't tried using autopitch yet, just one question, I take it you have to record the audio into the bounce track while the auto-pitch is correcting the vocals?
You can bounce 2 or more tracks to any of the stereo tracks. That will free up the existing tracks so that you can bounce multiple tracks to the next stereo track. The second to last would be your only other track you can do this so you can reserve your last track to your finished product. Thus you can burn your cd with everything encapsulated to your last track. Pretty handy recorder.
Good video. Okay my question is how do I get a instrumental from my phone into the machine and how do I put my vocals? I know jts a dumb question but I just got my machine so it will be helpful.
Why do my songs sound stereo in my earphones but mono on my monitors?(only one monitor producing sound) Guessing because I didnt use 2 tracks to record everything on? But if I use 2 tracks I will run out of tracks and I haven't figured out how to bounce tracks over? When I do can I make them stereo even if recorded in mono? Also will I be able to mix each track individually even after they have been bounced on to the master track? Any help at all will be greatly appreciated! Thx
My BR 1600 does not record vocal effects on some songs. I have had this for 10 years but this is the first time I have a problem with it. Is there any setting that I can use to activate vocal effects?
hi, i have been squeezing everything i can muster from a br600 8 trk recorder for about 6 years. can you tell me if the drumkits i have customized using the cf flash cards will be compatible if i upgrade to a boss br1600cd? i have released a couple of half-decent album/demos using the br600 ability to load/sample drum sounds to midi rhythm patterns, as a drum machine it's pretty good, and i'd loathe to have to re-learn some other method now, as it took me long enough the first time around. as far as connecting to laptop vista 64, is there another programme similar to the one downloadable from the boss site, where you can choose the wav by clicking the tabs from green to orange etc? check out Russo - The Most Barbaric of all Religions (2013) or Dirty Radio Edit (2011) on spotify for a listen to the boss br600 being stretched to its potential. It took me 2 years. I think there were around 60 customized drumkits assembled for those pair,from over 2300 drum samplebites; & it's not something I'd want to try and repeat if you get my meaning. i'd appreciate any advice you might have. thanks, Russ Murray

We started out recording with a regular drum kit. Our drummer purchased an electronic drum kit and now we record the drums on one track. VERY handy.
How do you use the channel buttons to get the drum sounds stated on them
I hit utility-system-phantom power- on. I believe that's the sequence
