I couldn’t agree more. Who wants two different battery types they have to keep up with. Solid letter Canooga!

Thank you for watching my video and for commenting. Hopefully we can ride our new 840Wh e82s together on the trail one day soon.

I agree with your idea, hope Dengfu will make a frame with 840 Wh battery. Can use one battery for both bike, no need to purchase extra battery. Please update me if Dengfu accept your request

Thank you for watching my video and for commenting. I will definitely update if Dengfu offers the e82 with a battery compatible with the e10.

@boydcombsakaGster now i am using E22, planning to sell it coz too heavy with M620 motor. Like to buy E82 with m510

I do not need extra heavy 1008wh battery, I need super massive extra heavy 1200wh battery. BTW 840wh is garbage.
Just ride more, 840wh it's like for 4-5 hours on level 1-2 assist, NOT EVEN A DAY.

Thank you for watching my video and for commenting. I respect your comments and opinion, but I still like my 840Wh battery for my set up. I hope you are able to eventually get what you want. All the best.

Nobody is asking for a bigger battery unless you're throttling constantly. What we need is a slimer and more compact downtube.

You said 840Wh is large enough and 1008Wh is extra heavy. I disagree with both points. Because some will need that 1008Wh battery, even if you don't, some will need even more. Some technical info: E10 battery is made with 13S5P = 65pcs of 18650 cells with 3,5Ah/cell. So actually it's 819Wh, not 840Wh. E82 battery is made with 14S4P = 56pcs of 21700 cells with 5Ah/cell. When you said 1008Wh battery is extra heavy, that's BS. 65pcs of 18650 cells will weight about 3,25kg (bare cells) And 56pcs of 21700 cells will weight 3,92kg (bare cells) So the difference is only 670g. And that's only about 3% more to your bike weight. That's nothing. But at the same time it's 23% more battery capacity. And remember, if you really feel you could live with 400Wh or something, some local battery specialist could do that kind of battery for you. Same time they could propably remove the battery case, because for example battery case for Dengfu E55/E56 weights 1170g without lid and that's quite much "for nothing". Then your battery is fixed in the frame so you could not remove it for charging if that's a problem. I understand you will use your battery from E10 you already have.

Thank you for watching my video and for commenting. I did not derive the Wh, I obtained those numbers (1008 and 840) from Dengfu. Therefore, I suggest that you contact Dengfu regarding the calculation of the Wh. I understand your other points, but I still believe an e82 offered with the same battery that is offered in the e10 would be an appealing option for many.
