564 - 8 LIVE! Shiny Pokemon in the Great Marsh/Safari Zone!! Safari Week 2021 Compilation [W/F?]

- My time spent in the Great Marsh was pretty Great!!! But my luck maybe wasn't all that great. I did a grand total of 99,464 encounters with an average of 12,433 encounters per shiny this year.
I think this has actually been one of my worst luck streaks, but still pulling off 8 shinies is a testament to how fast Safari REs are! Hope you all had a great one, too.

A good half of these were found on my Twitch stream!! (twitch.tv/absoltastic) I streamed pretty much every day during Safari Week, and if you get enough channel points on the stream, you can add Pokemon to the layout like you see occasionally in this video.
Had a great Safari Week, and I hope you did, too!! Now, to answer questions I'm sure I'll be getting ahead of time:
1. When is next Safari Week?
-next year around this same time of year (nothing's stopping you from hunting in the Safari Zone year round though!)
2. When is the next Rumble Weekend?
-hopefully early August
3. When is the next Level 100 Gauntlet video/movie??
-I'm editing a BIG gauntlet I just recently finished right now, and I've just got a couple hunts left on my Shield Badge Quest movie! Also, expect Sinnoh remake movies when those drop probably
4. Pokemon Unite?
-I don't see myself ever playing it. I tend to avoid MOBA games.

Congrats on all the rad finds! This year was the first time I participated in Safari Week, and my first time hunting in any pre-6th gen game, inspired by your videos. Single hunted in Heart Gold while watching your streams, and ended up finding a Shiny Farfetch’d on Thursday. It fled after the first ball, but overall I had a lot of fun during Safari Week, and I hope everyone else did too!

A hoothoot in the great marsh after 3227 encounters and it fled but what an incredible experience! Great videos as always

You might just well rename Great Marsh to Great Wooparsh and I may not be invited to it since I haven't reclaimed mine yet. 4 Woopers aside (still can't believe you caught them all), you had a great safari week in my view despite the drought, by having cool finds like Tropius and Carnivine. Wish I was part of the Safari Week too but I was busy with college sadly. Hope next year I'll make it and have a memorable run. Congrats Matt and good luck on your next hunts :)

Dang, those encounter rates were pretty awful, but at least you found the shinies. I love how Sonikks found a bunch of eggs and you just found a bunch of Wooper XD

I love the spirit of safari week! I don't think I'll participate in one anytime soon, because I don't even want to have the chance of losing a shiny if I find one. But that's the fun of safari week!
I'm hoping something like this pops up in the remakes prob won't since we didn't get a true safari zone in ORAS but hey it is "suppose to be a faithful remake".

(Also, I have to ask, was the magnemite staying on the layout during the Bibarel encounter intentional?)
I had no recording of the webcam without the Magnemite, so it was kinda stuck there haha
