Those were the days. I so enjoyed watching Jessup week in week out at Saddlebow Road, home of the King's Lynn Stars. We also had Michael Lee so numbers 1 & 2 in the world.

Had the pleasure of meeting both Edward Jancarz and Zenon Plech in the UK. I remember at a Hackney second half final, Zenon tried a engine tuned by a friend and was really impressed and came second and said afterwards, if he had a new tyre he would have won. By the way Barry Thomas was going to ride it, but didn’t make the final and told us that Zenon will.
