I understand commenters having "prospect fatigue" with Tink Hence, but he's right on schedule. He was a skinny young kid who didn't have a senior season (COVID) when he was drafted and needed to bulk up. He's never had a major injury, but he has had a series of small dings. Have the Cardinals babied him since he was drafted? Absolutely, but we don't know if that's warranted or not. Would you rather see him blow out his arm and sit out two full seasons like the Phillies' Andrew Painter? Not me. Hence is still a great prospect. He just needs to show he can carry a full starter's load in the minors, much less the majors. He's fine.
This is why we need human coaches and not screens or stats…equation odds motivate nothing…it’s stuns me that people can’t see this…you wanna fix our shitty farm system…screw stats…work, motivate, inspire, maybe even bully??? That’s how you get true greatness
@ bro, why laugh…are sports not about spirit and will? How does exit velocity on a screen motivate, especially when you were the best hitter in the whole minors…but the big league coaches want you to lift the ball…Jesus. So essentially hit home runs it’s more efficient…the computer system says so…like no shit…if I just hit a home run ever time the game is easy…now you got him thinking…worried, unsure, uneasy for know reason…walker is an nfl lineman…physics tells us he will eventually put the ball over the wall….
I thought it was 5 years of service time if you sign when you were under the age of 18 and 4 years of service if you signed when you were over the age of 18. I was probably told wrong.
Kinda messed up we have to celebrate the manager getting 1, as in a single, 3rd place vote, when we could have had the guy would got 1 1st place, 19 2nd place, and 8 3rd place votes.
If Arenado traded may staring lineup against right hand pitchers Donovan lf Herrera c Burleson dh Contreras 1st Gorman 3rd Winn ss Walker rf Scott cf Saggese 2nd Bench Crooks Koperniak Davis ???? Against left hand pitching move Herrera to dh and put Crooks in at c if Burleson struggles again when facing left handers
@bschaeffer12 unless he plays center or fill in the corners I don't see a spot for him with Donovan full time left and Walker right Need to start Gorman 3td and Saggese at 2nd
If I hear Hence is vulnerable due to his size I’m gonna loose it. Players today have the most resources best training best science behind the body…6-6 250 lbs pitchers are constantly hurt only throwing six innings if we’re lucky. Where I’m from the little guy was nasty…maybe we should think of it like that and assess mlb training health and approach to strength no different than other pro leagues more their asset value goes up the more we baby them based on garbage science
@@ShaneCameron9 I'm not babying anybody, I'm looking at the fact he hasn't ever thrown enough innings to be a full MLB starter so I'm saying I need to see that before I believe he'll do it. Gotta progress and be durability enough to do it. I believe he can, but I haven't seen.
If the cardinals are serious about going all in on development and saving money this year they have to dump Mikolas and Matz….they’re blocking prospects from taking a roster spot and haven’t done anything to help the club in 3 years while making a ton of money. Keep Gray and maybe Fedde, let the kids battle for the last 3-4 rotation spots
but either way, I’m more concerned with the roster spots than the cash. It wouldn’t really matter if they saved the money or not bc they’ve said they won’t spend it this year anyways so if eating the cost means we can watch something other than Mikolas getting shelled in the 3rd inning I’m in
Let Matz walk and eat his contract. im tired of every year speculating that he will be a starter this year. like he was supposed to be last year…and the year before that…. I wonder why the Mets let him go 🤔
Tink is super young. Hoping he’s putting on the muscle. 🍀🍀🍀🍀
I’ve been a big Tink fan since he got drafted!
Can’t wait to see him on our major league club as a reliever role if health is a concern.

Agreed.
Tink is the future ! ⚾️
Never mind! 🎉😂 You answered my question later on in the video.

But no we gotta outsmart the kid because we don’t want to coach…we want to push a button on a computer
It’s mind boggling stupidity and laziness

Nice job sir and im not touching the oli vote

I cannot take the vote from Keith seriously. It seems like a he is just trying to be provocative or making a statement, though not sure of what?

I think far too early yet to declare that.

not if you find someone willing to take on most if not all of the contracts and give you the bag of peanuts they’re collectively worth

What a joke oli got a vote that sports writer did not even vote for the top three he voted for the phillies manager and oli
He voted for Arizona manager as well. That was his top 3.

Thanks for listening Charlie!
What cat?
@NewswithNick I imagine he's referring to Tink.
What an incredibly dumb thing to say. Delusional honestly
@NewswithNick I didn't say it🤷🏻♂️
