1:08:42 I was born with Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto retrograde so, because these planets move so slowly, in the secondary progresions they are and will be retrograde until I die. And the worst is that few days after I was born Saturn also turned retrograde. I´m 62 years old now and only Uranus is straight in the Sec. Prog., the other 4 are still retrograde. Uranus turned straight when I was 28 years old (almost exactly 34 years ago), finishing my master´s degree studies and engendering my first child (a girl). I didn´t notice the fact that correlates the engendering of my first child with the change in dierction of Uranus in the Sec. Prog. until today. Thanks Chriss !!!

This helps me greatly because, as a student of astrology, I’m learning through books, videos and social media without being able to ask questions and have them answered in real time. Sometimes, where birthmarks , such as moles , and their colour, red or very dark, are on the body, can give clues to the rising sign, for example if youve a very dark mole, on the right side of the body, perhaps in scorpio, will tell you what side of the chart saturn is placed, and if saturn aspects a planet in scorpio

I had my chart Rectified by an Astrologer as my Auntie mentioned I was born “early in the morning”. Years later I had a personal reading with a much older more experienced Astrologer & she said if u moved interstate in this month u were born earlier. Further down the line I had a psychic reading done for myself for Christmas 2 years ago & he said I feel u were born later!!! Hence quite a lot of $ spent on readings that were not quite accurate. I’m wondering if our “physical appearance” and manner could possibly indicate what our Rising Sign/Ascendant could be? eg tall/short, redhead, slim/rotund, eye colour, extroverted personality etc, as a way of also trying to find out what sign is on the first house cusp? or maybe what planets could be in the first house or conjuncting the Ascendant or Planets aspecting same? …
My birth certificate doesn't have my exact birth time on it (UK) My mother has a personal recollection of my birth time, although I don't quite know it to be exact - it happens to be right on an ascendant cusp between two signs.

I use the sunrise chart in my practice on the rare occasion people don't have the time and I find that when you put the sun on the rising the houses the other planets fall in end up being very accurate by the same principle that the derivative house system works. These have been incredibly accurate readings still including houses.
In other words youre doing a solar chart. That's all you can do when you don't have a birth time. And the solar chart holds a huge wealth of information if you know what to look for. When i have clients who can't discover any info on their birth time, I'll do a solar chart and I've never run out of information to share, and the client always finds the reading deeply insightful and helpful.

One question.....in line with your meticulous attention to detail (and my Virgo midheaven) at 36.30 timeline you say that with aspects between two planets, the earlier planet takes dominance and I'm not sure if I understand this correctly. For e.g. I have Jupiter and Saturn together in Capricorn Jupiter 11 Saturn 18 - does this mean Jupiter takes dominance? It seems to run contrary to what one might suppose which is that planets with higher degrees have more power and therefore dominance. Much appreciated.
I was drugged and there was a lot of confusion when my 2nd daughter was born. A c-section with complications. It took quite awhile for them to cut the umbilical cord. Her birth certificate has a her with a Virgo ASC. I’ve always thought she was a Leo ASC but then she does have the Moon applying to Neptune conjunction 🥴 so as her mother I might not be the most clear headed about this 🤣
Omg my sister was also drugged because it was a C-section birth and her son have Moon conjunct Neptune, that is so eerie haha! Her husband made sure to get the accurate time of their son's birth which I'm grateful for.
Birth certificates (at least in Europe) are not always reliable as someone had to go to the council office to record the birth and it was done often hours or days after the actual birth. For example I am registered as being born at 17:00 but there is no way I was born that late. So I figured a time between my parents’ memory of the birth time (anything between 14:0018:00) and events in life and character elements that better define my ascendant and houses.
Adopted and born in a house not a hospital. Have never met my original family! and birth certificate does NOT provide time of birth. There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that you can help me find this. I only want to do the astrology that is possible. I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT TIME I WAS BORN. 😳 I watched the whole rectification ep and it was NO help. Thank you but please keep it as simple as possible
Same here, I was adopted as well, I do have my birth certificate from El Salvador, also it was in 1991, so there was a war going on and.... well I guess I will never know 😐

I'm either a virgo (85-90%), libra (also 85-90%), scorpio (65-70%), sag (60-65%) and finally cap (45-50%) rising. DEFINITELY not past that. It's killing me.
I was delivered by a midwife in the 50"s. My time of birth is not on my birth certificate. Mom said I was born around 3:00 am. She said it could have been a little before or after 3:00 am. My father has no idea. I had a chart done using 3:00 am. Will 10 -15 minutes off make a difference in the chart? I have always wondered.
It can yes, sample this by changing your birth time to 2:45am and 3:15am. As mentioned in this video what tends to change most is your rising sign and the moon.
You can draw your free natal chart on many websites, astro.com, astrotheme.com etc. then edit the date or create a 2nd, 3rd profile. You can also chose different house systems, Placidus, whole houses, full sign, etc Then there is the sidereal and tropical zodiacs... Have fun ! ;-)

Blame TH-cam, even other channels complain about the midroll ads. Once your video is eligible, YT would just automatically add them. It's annoying indeed! Greed on their part. There's ad block but I encourage you to play ads to help the channels you like. Your patience is commendable!
This is so long after original airing of podcast, but I hope someone sees this question: does one consider the nodes in reading a chart without a birth time?
How does the location of birth impact a chart? For example, a couple I know was born on the exact month, day, and year but different states. I do not know the birth time of either but wondering the differences based on location of birth.
Using the noon chart for myself , I resonate with the flip viewing of my chart with my MC and IC being flipped signs? What time of day should I look into earlier or later in the day?
I have my birth time drilled into my head because for years growing up on my birthday when it was coming up to 1:47 P.m my mom would say oh in two minutes you're gonna turn x amount of years Lol That kind of thing
WHY NOT DISCUSS WHAT YOU CAN DO, WITHOUT A TIME OF BIRTH?? You spent the first 5+ minutes discussing what you CANT DO, without a time of birth, yet nearly nothing on what you CAN DO, without time of birth! WTF??
The entire rest of the episode beyond the first 5 minutes is about what you can do with out the time of birth, but we first had to establish why it is important to try to find the birth time if you can.

@@rabeechowdhury true that. But the ancients used this technique too and it works. Because you are doing based on the degree of the sun that day.

the chart there using is a tropical one and they seem to use the term "western astrology". If i was a betting man, there going by tropical
tropical equal house I think.. I use placidus but look to equal house for Northerly charts

The ascendant is where the sun rises. The horizon is aligned to a slightly (or greatly) different part of the sky depending on where you are.

In tropical astrology I have ♍️ ascendant, in sidereal i am ♌️. Can you give me advice on that please?
In sidereal they read the sign prior to your tropical sign. So Virgo would be Leo
