These Disney adults are on a mission! This week we visited Disney’s California Adventure and had a packed day full of friends, food, and as many rides as time would allow. Here are some tips if you’re planning a trip to the happiest place on earth 🐭
    1. Park at Mickey & Friends! If you have one of the annual passes that discounts parking at Toy Story then I understand parking there, but Pixar Pals and Mickey & Friends take you to the park via tram whereas Toy Story takes you by bus. Personally, I’d choose tram every time.
    2. There are six rides at DCA that have a single rider line. Aleks and I love using these to save time. We don’t mind that we won’t ride together since we never buy the ride photos and we get to stand in line together the whole time still. Definitely use this for Radiator Springs Racers, Web Slingers, and Soarin’!
    3. Downloading the app is a must for any Disney park you visit! The ride times are best feature on the app but you can also order food ahead of time and skip most of those lines as well. You’ll also need the app if you’re going to purchase lightening lane for the day.
    4. Random fun fact but there are free tampons in the women’s restrooms! I’ve been to these parks so many time and I’ve never noticed so I figured I’d mention it. With Disney prices these days, I’ll take all the free things I can 🤷🏼‍♀️
    5. The last thing you want at the end of a 20,000 step day at Disney is to forget where you parked. Take a picture first thing in the morning of your parking level, etc so you know exactly where to go! I’ve never not done this before but this day, we totally forgot and it was NOT fun 🙃
Next week we’ll continue our challenge of visiting all six Disney parks around the world (and a Disney cruise) in just six months! We hope you’ll stick around 🫶🏼
