🏴 Walk Around Portmeirion, Wales With Us! 🇬🇧 United Kingdom Hidden Gem (Italian Style Village)
We've recently been traveling to mainly large cities and we needed a break from the crowds. What better place to go than a little village in north Wales?! This being my home country, I honestly couldn't wait to get here. It's so comforting and cozy to me and we loved every second!

Howdy Amy & Aleks - Nice video! May I know how you signed up for the walking tour and what hotel did y’all stay at. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching! The free tour company was called 100 Spires City Tours! We booked it on their website. And we stayed at Lindner Hotel Prague Castle 😊
Lindt... My favorite chocolate and this tour so amazing and very interesting and yummy - yummy.Even video looks so tasty.😊 You needed get big purse to be prepared for this tour.
All of the chocolate was so good! 🥰
Shanghai is a very prosperous city. The locals are very welcoming and there are many delicious foods. Disney is very fun.
Amy, what exactly would your quicksand skills be?! 😂 21:41
Lol... Poinsettias... Not "poncyettas"!! Lol
Prague Is best 👍
Love the flowers, sheep and dragons. Love Wales. I miss you 😘
We miss you more! 🫶🏼
This is one of the more beautiful places you have visited. So picturesque.
We definitely agree! 😍 Thank you for watching!!
The sheep have mooooved 😂
I agree ❤ 🏴♥️
We're glad someone appreciates Aleks' cringey jokes 😂
That comment was sooo baaaaaaaaaad!! Sheep don't moo!!
That must be one of the most beautiful places on earth. The flowers look so well kept and overall landscaping looks like it's from a fairy tale.
It was stunning! Do you want to come with us next time we go?! 😉🤍
@@amyandaleks I would love that :)
Are you aware of the connection between Wales and Ukraine. Donetsk used to be called Yuzovka. Yuzovka is a compound of Yuz + ovka, ovka in this context being the suffix that denotes a settlement named after the root word. Yuz is transliteration of the name Hughes. In the context of Yuzovka it is in reference to John Hughes, the Welshman who was the industrialist who founded the town and brought industrialisation to the region, established a steel plant and coal mines there and the settlement that grow around the steel plant and coal mines became known as Yuzovka, named after John Hughes. I thought that might be interesting for you both as you are a Welsh/Ukrainian couple, it seemed like an apt bit of knowledge
We had no idea! This is really cool to know - thank you 🥰
Meat substitutes and muscle substitutes and man substitutes go together. When food becomes an ideology. You don't want that.
The visa-free policy facilitates foreign friends to visit China and learn about Chinese food and culture
When were you in Naples ? It seems not too crowdy!
We were there in late June/early July! I agree, it wasn't too bad 😊
I don't understand why every one wants to do this tour, I thought to was a complete non event
We really enjoyed your visit to Prague. Brought back lots of memories for us when we visited. New friends here from Scotland👍
We're so glad you enjoyed it! We're actually in Edinburgh right now and we absolutely love it 🤍
I didn't remember having that experience checking in our luggage at Delta ... hope to in a few days :)
I think this only exists at LAX - but then again, we've only flown Delta One once so we don't know much. We hope you enjoy your flight! 🤍
That was beautiful tour around the Dublin area. Many thanks for the tour
We're glad you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for the kind words 🤍
Water words - made me think ‘Disney’ very cool
We thought of Disney, too! 🥰
Nice
I read about many male whole returned to Ukraine and was instantly recruited to army, so Aleks is lucky that they didnt catched him. He is in years to be yanked into it.. (even if he does not live there)
LVIV is too close to Poland/Slovakia so there is nothing exciting about. you should show us KIYV or Charkov at least :D
Kharkiv, no Charkov in Ukraine. They are just as good, but very different and unique
The cakes looked awesome
Only active volcano in Europe? Go yi Iceland!
The complete sentence should have been: Vesuvius (south of Napoli) and Campi Flegrei (north of Napoli) are the only two active volcanos on Europe's mainland
@@massimoformisano8281 Campi Flegrei and its sidecrater Vesiuvius only is randomly active. Yes I acept my mistake. And if Campi Flehei (Phlegrean fields) will be even semiactive then Napoli is history. Campi Flegreis last big eruptions caldera was 15 - 30 km wide. If that hapens again then half of Europe is gone.
You didn't go to Bondi nor Manly! They are a must
Added to the list for next time! 🤍
But we have too much post soviet ocupant here: (
China is a country with a vast land and rich history. Everyone is welcome to spend a wonderful time in China.
Pretty decent travel video for doing all of the touristy things. Remember to clean your camera lens. Half of the footage seemed like the lens was smudged. Offering feedback as a frequent Prague visitor. Trdelnik. If you really want to try it, Trdlo Cafe is a Czech owned food chain and charges much less than the trdelnik places in the tourist areas. There is a Trdlo Cafe in the food court of the Paladium Mall in Namesti Republiky across from the Public House/Powder Gate. I am bummed that the great guide was paraphrased by Amy, rather than just getting it straight from the horses mouth. Sorry, Dita was more interesting. There are a lot of these youtuber Prague guides and they are all pretty homogenous. The thing is, the the locals do a much better job, like Valerie from the Real Prague Guides and Janek and Honza from the Honest Guide. The Pilsner Urquell Experience is a waste since you are in essence paying money for an Advertisement to their beer. You can learn about the beer pours from any of the Pilsner Urquell restaurants where you don't have to pay the equivalent of $20 for 2 to 3 beers. The city is trying to regulate tours since they generate money but don't pay taxes, and the two loopholes they use are "free tours" or "Charities." Here is a vetted list of licensed tour guides: mmr.gov.cz/cs/microsites/pruvodci/seznam-pruvodcu/seznam-zpravy Glad you enjoyed Prague.
Thanks for your tips! 🤍
Those seats that are close together are called the love bird sears because your next to your partner if you have one.
The transit visa-free policy explains that openness is a distinctive sign of Chinese modernization
Ukraine is former Soviet Union country and located in Eastern Europe, while Czech Republic as former Czechoslovakia was never part of Soviet Union and is located in Central Europe. Both Ukrainian and Czech are Slavic languages, while Czech is western Slavic and Ukrainian is Eastern Slavic language, so there is a certain mutual understanding but not as much as with our more related languages like Slovak or Polish.

That is so incredibly kind! Thank you for watching 💛
e.g. missing a visit to the National Museum on Wenceslas Square.... Otherwise great video :)
Thank you! We'll add it to the list for next time 🥳
ad charles university building - that is more or less just a "ceremonial" central building - you go there for graduation and similar ceremonie, otherwise university itself has over 50 buildings all over the city that are used for studies.
Becouse nobody ask nobody and politicians change name without referendum. Welcome to the Czech Republic, cuntry with STB agent in parlament.
Hello ( Ahoj) That Beaver is actually a Nutria... in most of the world, people eat them. Only we feed them :D
Very interesting! We did see them everywhere once we spotted them!
Yep. And it's forbidden to feed them.
Nothing against your style of travelling but it feels like my worst nightmare. I hate to walk around in groups, I hate being spoon-fed "facts" (maybe they were all correct and you just mangled up half of them, hard to tell). Not my cup of tea at all. Sorry.
No worries, it's definitely not for everyone! We had an amazing time in your city and hope others can see the beauty through the video. Thanks for watching and enjoy your travels 🤍
The correct name is the Czech Republic. Czechia is a neologism and sounds like a disease in Czech. As a Czech I prefer the Czech Republic if we are talking about the whole state or Bohemia if we are talking about the country.
Thanks for sharing! We did learn about Bohemia as well 😊 Absolutely loved our time here.
jako Čech preferuji Czechia, nemoc jsi ty.
@@amyandaleks Don´t take him seriously. As a Czech I prefer Czechia and the title goes back centuries. But in times of communism they try to indocrinate us to hate the name. That´s why some still hate it. Czechia or Czech Republic is not just Bohemia, it’s also Moravia and part of Selesia. That’s how you can see he has it wrong. Bohemia are in Czech Čechy, not Česká republika.
Why we do have Czechia: Germany - Federal Republic of Germany France - French Republic Sweden - Kingdom of Sweden Slovakia - Slovak Republic Switzerland - Swiss Confederation China - Peoples Republic of China Czechia - Czech Republic so easy it is....btw. talking about the country, Bohemia is not a country. It's only a historical region... Btw. how you want to translate "Česko" in english? (and no, "Bohemia" is NOT the right answer)
@@amyandaleks I hated saying "Czech Republic". So I'm glad I don't have to anymore
What a amazing video! Beautiful shots and editing. Great content!
That's very kind of you to say! Thank you so much 💛
You just fell in every single tourist trap in Prague. Sorry for that :(
Aww, that's okay! Luckily, most of our activities were free and everything we saw was incredibly beautiful ✨ Do you have any local recommendations for next time? We'd love some!
yep...agree...every single one...
@@amyandaleks Look at Honest Guide and Real Prague Guides. They are top and funny!
Did they, really? Except for the chimney cake and the beer museum, which are "attractions" designed only for tourists (but if you enjoy it, then why not?) , all I see is time well spent in Prague :)
The exact date of the foundation of the Charles Bridge is a fake. There is no proof of this. They didn't count minutes at all in the Middle Ages.
The 'beaver' was actually a muskrat XD; a north american species, so very much invasive here in europe (they were brought here to for fur farming), so feeding them is not really a good thing as they are negativelly affecting the enviroment. I do agree they are cute despite that tho XD
Yes, someone else also mentioned they're overpopulated which is sad because they're SO CUTE 😭
Not a beaver or otter... its actualy animal called Nutria - originaly from south america, brought to Czech republic during comunist era for fur and meat.... people were raise them and having them on on their gardens,..... but not anymore and since they dont have natural predator to make population stable they overpopulated
Jestli někdy označíte trdelník jako tradiční Český, tak vás Janek Rubeš požene svinským krokem.
You're the kind of tourists that can be called tiktok tourists...
I like you measured and we'll thought out approach. Will pass it on to me son and daughter-in-law who are planning an European trip in a few weeks.
Thank you so much! Hopefully they find it helpful 😊
Hi, can we change euros with for hryvnia in Ukraine ?
We think we remembered seeing cash change kiosks in the train station! We used the ATM to take out hryvnia so we know that works as well :)
@@amyandaleks Thank you for answer
@@Saint-Claire_88 But don't change all money at a train station , just a little amount needed (for transport and meal) - as the rate there is usually a bit higher. There are lots of exchange points in a city. If you need some help or advise - ask staff in any bar, cafe etc - as usual they speak english.
