    I had around 3 braaaps already. I ride EVERYDAY to work. I put around 1000kms in a month or less, I'm in constant heavy traffic and I can comfortably say Braaaps are really good. Haven't had any issues with it. They behave well, good size, really economical as well. Of course the bike itself has some lower quality parts compared to other brands, but the secret is, no matter how high is the quality of the motorcycle, if you're not a good owner/rider, you WILL in fact end up breaking something. No matter if it's a Yamaha or a Braaap.

      Thanks for the comments here, always appreciate the thoughts of someone who owns the bikes we talk about. I’ve got two Braaaps on the way and will spend a year riding these so am looking forward to doing more miles and seeing how they perform and last myself. Cheers.

    Nice review , I’ll be looking forward to the track test too . I wish braaap would bring out a 250 dirt bike to match their 450 model

      cheers mate, yeah I am keen to give it a run on the track. Maybe one day they will bring out a 250, probably not as easy as we think to come out with a new model though.

    Good video, was tossing up between this and a few bikes. And in the end, I bit the bullet, and went ahead and spent an extra $2k on a brand new Z400 instead and I’ve been loving it. On top of that, better parts, reliability, adjustment and even power. But that’s just me.

    Probably built to the same quality or a bit better than a ninja 300 was those things bent frames very easily. Just had a higher cost and sticker on the tank. I'd give one a go if I was in market for this size bike

      Plenty of mechanics will work on them. Just gotta find one that doesn't have a massive ego about working on strictly brand name bikes. I've already found 2 mechanics within an hour of my house in the Hunter valley,who will service my moto4. One business didn't even hesitate when I asked if they'd service it and they really looked after me with it. Just need to look harder mate.

  • @Thechist781

    You can’t start a fuel injected bike ? I had had a flat battery about 4 times and I let the bike go in a incline and Voilà. 😊

    • @TheBikeStig
      @TheBikeStig  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Must've had sufficient charge in it to operate the fuel injection mate. If there's zero power, no pushing will ever start it.

    Oh boy what a pile of crap - it is a poorly balanced bike the engine / gearbox is harsh noisey and has very poor harmonics.let’s not even talk about the unshielded exhaust which does burn your calf ( moto 4 ). Now let’s talk about the low quality sprockets and ancient chain that come stock with the bike( every thing is optional) the clutch is harsh. This bike has been built to a price , the warranty is yet to be determined as there is no user manual no approved service centres / a very poor so called E book which is not even researched by the company it is information from third hand parties. “ the bike stig “ really disappointed with your assessment- it is not just about the price point, you know very well that for novice riders the bike not only needs to be light / balanced able to stop and very importantly needs to be able to be adjusted for various riding positions according to the height/ arm length of the individual rider but be very forgiving on the road, for me who has been riding motorcycles from dirt too track for over 40+ years I can absolutely state that i would not recommend this bike to any novice rider. Of course this my opinion and everyone has the right to make up their own mind but the rake and steering geometry of this bike in the hands of a novice rider is sure to see them high side if they are not very careful/ the twin rotors on the front with a ABS (wow talk about serious brake fade )again a very novice thing to do is over cooking into a corner or dragging the brake through the approach and the corner itself, this in conjunction with those tyres is a recipe for an accident. I do concede the bike is built to a price point but no bike should ever comprise stability and safety. For the record I took 1 for a 3k ride through various terrains and road conditions/ surfaces ( excluding dirt ) before I made the above statement. It ultimately will boil down to the individual to make a decision whether this bike is for them or not .

    • @TheBikeStig
      @TheBikeStig  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the comment mate, appreciate your opinion, I have one arriving in about two weeks so I can actually spend some time on it. I am going into this with good knowledge of what it is not. I have no expectations of it being like anything else I own. But will give it a chance to see how it performs based on that. Cheers again

    • @sneakybogan
      @sneakybogan 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Lol you took one for a 3km ride and think that's enough ride time on one to make such an assumption of the bike?
      I have a moto4 with 8500 on the clock. Had it from brand new. You get what you pay for with the stock chain and tyres. I changed my chain, sprockets and tyres as soon as I got the bike.
      I've owned many bikes and this is by far the easiest to do maintenance and work on. Paul (braaaps workshop manager) walked me through dismantling the carby in it to determine a problem I was having with it bogging down. Was a small tear in the rubber inside the carb. Paul immediately sent me a new one in the post today, because I paid for the lifetime warranty. Andrea and Paul have been excellent to deal with and I am happy with my bike. It's slow, yes, but it's very fun. Your opinion I feel has no merit because you have next to no experience riding this particular bike.
      I have ridden it on some long rides (2+ hours) to Sydney, and then back again and it's very very fun on twisty roads (did old pac and putty on it). It's an excellent bike for a novice rider, and Ive been riding for 10 years so I'm not exactly a novice.

      @@TheBikeStig at 0:35 you state the owner had the goal of “Producing a low cost motorcycle” prior to that you state it’s an Australian company. It might not be said directly but it’s easily interpreted as that Australian company are producing the bikes which in fact they are not.
