This so very helpful for me as I'm not confident in my ability to create a junk journal. I can watch tutorials all day long, but the main thing is I need to start!!

Thank you so much for the "how to" videos. I admire your work and I also went to shop (video) with you on a trip for supplies. I ordered two sizes of the Arts and Crafts paper pad after watching from the USA. I ordered it right away from the UK. I'm an Edith Holden fan, have been for years. I'm glad to know I can enjoy her book in my crafting also. Thank you again. Sharon McKinney
Tracie, you make it look so easy and your journals turn out so beautiful. We all love you and keep up the amazing work you do. Oh yes would love to see your desk!! ❤️❤️
Thank you so much Tracie that’s so awesome and helpful and practical. I’m going to have to keep a look out for those little books. It really helps to be shown how you use them. Also I’m a veggie too xx Mags
Your tutorials are full of information that is easy to understand and explains what can be a very hard process. These signatures make sense. A balance must be there or the journal will seem over done or not finished. I like your results. thank you!
I can’t thank you enough for your wonderful demonstrations. 🤗🤗🤗 I had just a slight idea “how~to” make a journal. I’m always excited to watch your videos 😃😃😃. You are an incredibly giving and wonderful woman !!! Awesome creations !!! 🤗🤗 🤗 Sincerely and tyfs.....Your Viewer, Shelley

Thank you for helping me with how to get started on how to make signatures. I make all my pages the same heights & lengths. Now I see how it flows when the pages are staggering giving a focal point in each pages of the signatures.😊. TFS once again!! From Columbus Ohio!!
This is so sweet of you. There are so many newbies who will really benefit from this video series & me too (not a newbie) because I love to see how really good journal makers, such as yourself, work. I always come away with a new idea. So Thx so much for the time you spend sharing your techniques with the journal makers world lol.
I just discovered your channel today and have spent a couple of very enjoyable hours exploring your creations. I am very excited to try your tutorials, especially the Double Journal. I have been trying to finish some projects (Folios) so I can try my hand at Junk Journals. I have also enjoyed exploring your Etsy Shop as well as the OldDesignShop on Etsy. Keep creating and thank you so much for sharing your talents and projects with us.
Hi Tracie Just wanted to thank you for your incredible tutorials....I’ve watched so many book making tutorials, and yours by far makes the greatest sense to me...can’t wait to try my first journal...thanks again! 😁
This was awesome. Love how you are showing how you lay these out and how you trimmed the pages so they are all perfect. I am enjoying this series so much. Learn something new with every video you do. Thank you so very much for taking the time to help those of us that haven’t made a journal yet. Enjoying listening to you. I want some of those observer books. Never seen them before here in the US so I will go look online since that’s where I got my Edith books and some others. Big Hugs 🤗🤗 to you. Happy Week 🌸🦋🌸🌼🐝🌼
Thanks for sharing! I usually add extra pages so my books are too full because I find once used they kinda smash down some. It's always fun to see the things others find too much or not enough!
Hello Tracie, I was watching a video by "Wendy's Journal Adventure" and she spoke very highly of you. So I had to check you out. I am so glad that I did. I'm very new to Junk Journaling, and I'm very thankful that you uploaded this tutorial. It is very helpful and very detail oriented. I just subscribed cause I love your work already and I cannot wait to watch your videos.
Hi, just discovered your chanel. So far, very helpful / informative. I realise I'm nowhere near ready to get started. Fingers crossed I can get some supplies in charity shops tomorrow
Great tutorial!!! I have so much stuff to make many journals and I haven’t made 1!!! I just cringed and cut a piano roll for a couple of pages in mine. My courage is building. I live in a very small community and no one has heard of them.
Start with a small journal first. Then once you're familiar you can go bigger. The process is much the same but at least you will build confidence. It's easy peasy.....just say that & you're on your way.
At last I know why my first journal looks a bit off. I didn't trim the pages before I sewed them in. Thank you for showing how to do it. Much appreciated!
It was really great to see you choose all your pages and how you mix them up. I recently made a book and it took me a week to decide all of that 🙄 It was my first book though. Brilliant series as always Tracie. Hugs from Nch xxx
Tracie... what can I say... I live your junk journals and your fab tutorials... thank you for showing me that my junk journals do not need to be over embellished... now I can begin AND complete one... where do you purchase your adorable books?... again, thank you for this fabulous tutorial... I will be watching the others in the series... and, is it okay to not trim the pages, I rather like the shabby look... oh, and do you have a tutorial showing how you die your pages...
Tracie, Just found your tutorials today and what great fun! They were in my Suggested Feed. I have only had the opportunity to watch three. I don't know if you sew, but I keep seeing you cut the signature threads with an exacto blade. I am wondering if you have ever tried a large seam ripper. If you don't sew, they are used to cut mistakes in stitching. I have a fear of blades, not that a seam ripper can't also be a deadly tool, but I am wondering if a cheap seam ripper might save your blade for more important work. They are relatively cheap and found at any sewing shop. Just to let you know, I think your videos are terrific! I am trying to binge watch them today! I love the botanical & bird pix. Beautiful work! MaryAnn Boehm aka KastleKitty
I got it.... Yay. .... I put one together last night actually and very happy how it's come out.... I shuffled it around a bit about 3 or 4 times ha ha but I got there.... 😆😆😆😆 loved this it was really helpful too. Xx
😍😍😍 neeeeed this in my life and I'm going to have to hunt for those beautiful books here in Sydney. Australian wild flowers are very different to the English ones
I'm the same way... I don't like what's referred to as "alligator mouth" books. That's one reason I don't make the cover until I'm done with filling out the signatures. If I'm working on an altered book, I stop before it gets that chunky.
Hello!! I'm a new subbie😃 Came over after seeing you on Michele's channel..Great job on the tutorials!! I'm looking forward to exploring the rest of your channel!!🙋🏻😍😘💕 TFS
I am so sorry I am really not sure. If I did not mention it in the video, I have removed most of my covers. I did a book video, it may be in that one xx
Hi Tracie - Cld u tell me what glue u use when covering an altered book cover with fabric - I used a decoupage glue - disaster- it bled thru the fabric in a large way and when it dried the whole piece of fabric was so much darker - maybe double sided tape? Appreciate any help if u have time - absolutely love your work - regards Rhonda Shields (I live in Australia and don't think we have fabri tack here) many thanks again
Your video is the first video I have seen where you actually show how a junk journal is made step by step. I thank you so much for this!
