Tracie, you are right, that fabric is gorgeous. There is just something about roses that everyone loves. Thank you for all the details about the edges and corners. I think a lot of us struggle with frustration in getting the details just right. Beautifully done and such a great tutorial.

I just read a comment saying she didn't mind long tutorials.....and I must ditto that. I do NOT mind them at all...in fact I love them. You are naturally gaining more information than short ones and the reason I even watch the 'good youTubers' as you are, is to learn as much as I can!!! And loved this one..truly was an important one for me, it was more thorough than I've seen and so inspirational! iT TURNED OUT BEAUTIFULLY!

I don't mind long tutorials. If people do mind they can fast forward. I'll never understand how/why people feel it's necessary to complain about free information. No good deed goes unpunished. Please don't rush yourself you could make a mistake and hurt yourself.

Thank you for showing us your process for covering the board with fabric. I have tried this and now I know why it went so horribly wrong. I will have another go and get it right this time, with your help. I join your feelings about wasps, sat on one when I was a child, and Mum and Dad were laughing so much they couldn't do anything to help for a bit!

Ah Gail, thats pants! I was stung twice bu wasps when I was a kid. The second time was because I squashed one with my had to get it back for being stung the first time! LOL. I was stung by a bee a coupke of years ago...that really was not nice :-( xxx

Thanks for sharing your process. I find that alieens tacky glue works good on fabric if I use a brush with a little bit of water to spread it out. It's still tacky but I find it lays really nicely with that itty bitty bit of water on my brush.

Hi Tracy. I don't mind long tutorials either it gives me time to watch carefully what you are doing instead of rushing through and then i think
"What was that"? Thank you for this one I have done my grandchildren a smallish one each but now I have collected things for mine. Can you please tell me if you do follow on ones so i can go from start to finish with you. I am still working my way round You Tube and very often find one part then loose the rest. Thank you for taking the time to teach us. Hugs and Luvs xxx P.S. I couldn't hear the fly but totally agree with you and wasps. xxxx

Hi, I think I mentioned in the video this is a vintage fabric. Its what I would describe as a medium weight. The fawn colour fabric is not so old and a lighter weight. Can't really be more specific. I get most of my fabric from a local vintage store. x
