The guy is good especially factoring in he's playing with Guthrie on film... he's playing well, for sure. In the world outside of guitar geeks he's super!
I had the pleasure of meeting young Tom at the Underdog and he was super cool and showed me the sound board set up on a tablet and how he makes changes and let me take pics of GT's set up. Nice to see him on the channel. Good Luck with everything Tom, and you get to hang with my favorite teacher so I am super jealous.
@@monfronoriginal Dude! You're playing is very tasteful. You are a very smart man running with that Nashville crowd! It's evidently rubbing off!! 🤩I'd be lying if I told you I wasn't a little envious my good man.
When I was young I had the noise issues were everyone turned up and up and up like a contest drove me mad that's why I like dynamics like you play Guthrie Howie here thanks for your great teaching god bless have a great Christmas and have a happy New year peace and love to real musicians songwriters and joy of great energy gods living energy
Man, this was so much fun guys - felt like we were just hanging out with you! Tom was playing nice and tasty too... backing off nicely when playing rhythm and playing nice lead too. Guthre, when you mentioned both of you playing through the same amp, I had to laugh. I was at a show here in Hungary a few years backand one of the amps on stage died. Instead of just plugging in to the other input of one of the other amps, they had a guitar player take turns sitting out and waiting until another amp was provided (3-4 songs later). I was kind of mumbling to myself out in the audience, like what the hell is wrong with this picture? Don't they know they can just plug into the other input?
Guthrie I love you man. You are incredible. But... Hey watch this simple triad thing, now if you play lead insert face melt not simple at all, did you see that guys? It is so easy to visualize. Nope. Great players aren't always greatest teachers. Not saying you aren't sir. Some people will watch this and really get it. But those people are a few levels above understanding how it all fits together. For me, I got confused way early. The example played assumes you have a knowledge level I don't. I understand these aren't beginner lessons, this is you sharing your awesomeness for free. I get that and appreciate it a lot. Happy Holidays to you Guthrie! Love the In Stereo LP and listen to it all the time.
I'm was trying to learn the lesson but this damn Katana practice amp is about to get thrown out the window. One minute it sounds fine, and the next time I turn it on it sounds like a darn organ at a funeral.
Holy shittt….young Tom???!!!!
Cousin Larry 😅
"Always bring the big amp" is the damn TRUTH!!! 😂😂
I guess that makes Bukovac 'old Tom', LOL.
Big fan of youngTom!
Looking forward to the Chicago show 🤙
