I just had Borla 140776cf installed on my 2020 AT4 6.2 and it sounds like a truck now. This is the Borla ATAK with carbon fiber quad tips 🔥G The 6.2 engine runs better and will be breathing more air when the S&B CAI arrives next week. These quad tips really make the truck look good 👌🏽

Just ordered my Borla Atak for my 2020 6.2L AT4 with a S&B CAI, it’s gonna sound tough
I had the 2017 Silverado 6.2 with the Corsa Sport Exhaust on it and can honestly say, the Borla ATAK system sounds waaaay better. It's just simply a clean rumble instead of a scalded cat like you'd get with Corsa. Not to say that Corsa doesn't sounds amazing, the Borla ATAK just simply sounds better. Great review of the system. I look forward to seeing others.
Debating on this and Corsa. Had Corsa on my last denali and it was nice. This sounds great!
If you take off the spare, do need to make any cuts?
Why did you have to cut the stock exhaust when you ended up just unbolting it anyways? Could the stock exhaust be removed without cutting it?
Sounds like the touring type exhaust note. Quieter than the S type. Will this void my warranty for a 2022.
Did you have a check engine light after the installation?
What would happen if you already had a set of headers Would it sound any different than that?
I have single exhaust, i recently for the rear bumper with the factor dual exhaust. I looking to do dual exhaust but trying to find the mounting bracket for the tailpipes. Any idea on where I can find them?
First time being a truck owner I got a 2021 Silverado ltz with the 6.2. How much/average does something like this run with parts and labor?
On average labor will be around $300-$400, but this will vary with shop labor rates. As for the parts, a full cat-back system will range from $1,000 to $1,500 depending on the brand that you go with.
Interesting that borla has said they haven't done a atak muffler for the new trucks.. but you have one. Hmm

do you have any info on the difference between the bends at the tip for this version vs the carbon fiber kit? Also any info on the kooks catback system for the same truck?
I just called Borla and they said you abosoulutley can NOT do a ATAK on 2020 Silverado they said only option is the S type Part number 140769 is this true?
Thats strange because they have ATAK fitments for the 2019-2020 Silverado's and we have obviously put them on a few trucks ourselves. It could be that the rep you spoke too had their own suggestion based on the sound that they like. Not too sure why they would tell you that if they have kits available.
I dont think they make an atak for the 5.3 anymore...that might be the confusion
The set up looks the same for a 5.3 with dual exhaust tips , even the trail boss looks the same under , maybe the sound it’s different but I like it different 🛻🔥💭
Is there a kit for the 2020 gmc 6.2L with max towing longer wheel base I think.
Will the sound differ with a CAI vs the stock air box?
Not so much out of the exhaust. You could notice a bit more sound out from under the hood after an intake install but not from the exhaust.
What would you go with Atak Vs. S-type? Coming from a 5.3L black widow venom 250 to a stock 6.2L. I liked the venom 250 but wish it was a little louder. I want the deepest/meanest growl I can get lol.
My neighbor has the Atak on his 2019 ram rebel and it sounds fabulous just my 2 cents.

Yes my buddy has it on his Denali and I have to say it sounds really good for just a cat back exhaust, almost sounds better than his ZL1 Camaro
Any chance this install could be done without a lift?
That should be possible but I would suggest some ramps to get you a bit more room. Taking the factory exhaust out is going to be the hard part, you will have to cut the system so you can take it out easily.

We like to keep it clean. Before each video is it cleaned.
Should of got speed engineering long tubes an there true dual exhaust
Inside the vehicle sound clips are needed, not outside.
