...And remember to go from limp (relaxed) wristed in the trophy position and also the racquet drop phase too,.. but when you're striking the ball 7-2 make sure you are consciously making an effort to PRONATE and land FORWARD on your front foot's toes. This end phase is the difference between achieving serious Rpm (kick) or Powderpuff (no deviation at bounce). Viewed from side on, your elbow at strike point is behind your head in contrast to a slice or flat when it is in front.
Thanks for creating the video, really helpful! You've inspired me to focus on improving my serve this summer with your gym workouts and plyometrics. I've noticed my toss might be throwing off my entire form leading to inconsistent serves. Do you have any drills to help me develop a consistent toss?
My pleasure and that's great to hear! Here is one my sister did when she was playing. It's some exercises to work on your flat serve toss. instagram.com/reel/CU3VogTAiHJ/?igsh=bTY2d3R3czRwZHpv
When you say toss behind, are you saying towards the back fence or towards the left/your back? Same for “front”, does that mean into the court so you’re weight is moving forward or more to the right in front of your face?
Great question...I should have explained that better...for the kick serve it should be traveling towards the left of you are a right and if you let the toss drop it would land on your head. For the flat serve the toss can be in the court past the baseline and you would make contact in line with your right shoulder if you are a lefty. These are general guides. Not everyone has the exact same toss.
Hi I just found this channel I spend like 1 hour a day working on my kick serve my biggest problems are 1. The ball bounces and goes high but then comes down like almost at the baseline. 2. When I try to make it “kick” it spins somehow the wrong way and it like slices. Do you have any ways to fix these?
Sounds like your racquet angle at impact. Try to make contact from 7 to 2 on the ball and go up and out with a lot of acceleration. Brush up the ball like you do with a topspin forehand.
Hello brother I have a question about tennis (ipin) I send you message about it in Instagram I hope you reply I really like your channel thank you so much 🙏👏
@@MPTennis Thanks for a chance 🙏 I want to register for a tennis tournament, but I have never joined a tennis club (there is no tennis club near me), but I train constantly. Can I register through ITF by (ipin), and is joining a tennis club mandatory?
@@KheirB You don't need to be part of a club to play in an ITF. But depending on if you are a junior, pro or senior, they have certain requirements. My recommendation would be to play as many open tournaments in your country and build up your ranking. Then try to get in an ITF as an alternate, if you don't have a high ranking. I hope that helps. Just because you have an IPIN doesn't mean you get into ITF tournaments.

@@KheirB What country are you in? You won't be able to play ITFs if you are an intermediate player. Look for tournaments in your country and play. If you need to be part of a club, then join one even if you don't play there so you can get in tournaments. Really hard for me to answer when I don't have all the details. Good luck!

@@ATA-wi2lh yes, if you are right handed
thank you for revealing the secret, now I can finally do the kick serve -_-
As a lefty, this is the one weapon I really need to improve on
Use these tips ;-)
The kick and slice wide on the ad side frim a lefty is the strongest shot in the game.
