Boss, 4 in the clip, and Onyx were straight WWE. Jump off the turnbuckle with the elbow or leg drop, Hulk Hogan with the big foot, and Ultimate Warrior running around the ring like a straight looney tune. But the true irony is, their own generation who criticized them for being studio gangstas and also praised real gangstas, condemn the young rappers of today for being too gangsta and putting in work in the streets. The 90s generation should have condemned the real gangstas too when they condemned the studio gangstas and then the following generations would have never been as violent, reckless, strung-out, and incoherent as they are now because they were raised by the violence, gangsterism, and alcohol and drug use from the 90s generation.

Onyx are from some of the wildest hoods of nyc they did not put on an act they were original and their music was something unheard of at the time.
Ummm. 4 in the clip was from uptown and bronx, the wildest parts. While their Rap personas were over the top they were indeed raised amongst all of that. Onyx too and I know because I'm from their area.
That place was wild in the 70-90s and even some stiff going now.
He literally said we took our frustrations and put in into our album. He didn't say he was a hard-core killer keeping it real and you gotta take his words as fact.

@@dassolosyndikat5113 Onyx were straight WWE. They got punked and robbed and didn't get any getback! One even tried to confront someone who said they were fake and when the other person asked for a one on one fight, the onxy member scared in his boots changed the subject and offered to buy the guy drinks all night. I could run down a list of incidents of how they got played but it will be removed or shadowbanned. Hopefully, this comment can bypass the algorithms.

I WAS THERE. We shaved our heads bald right before we went to the Palladium. I remember rocking my khaki POLO CP-93 fitted cap. Saw Craig G and Sen Dog of Cypress chilling outside.
That night I learned not to smoke a rolled up blunt from people you don' know. A friend of a friend named Barberian passed me a blunt and before I hit it my homie was like "YOO DON'T SMOKE THAT SHIT, DAT SHIT IS LACED WITH KRILLS!" The sick bastard started laughing 😆because I almost smoked a blunt with crack.
Shit got real live when Onyx performed SLAM. Good times.
