For example: “Your hair is long for a black girl or you are pretty for a big girl.” And what gets me the most is that these people really think they are giving you a compliment. Smh! As a fellow natural afro hair wearer, I thought your hair was beautiful the first time I saw one of your videos (and I'm sure I commented on it too!) As the comment below says, you are clearly beautiful inside and out, shining with gentleness and grace and as a fellow Christian woman I also aspire to be more beautiful on the inside. But I also know that my own natural hair is beautiful too.
Firstly, my pretty you are the cutest, you’re so pretty with your own hair, and your skin looks so soft. I’m also natural and it’s awesome unlimitedly because: - I see myself when I look in mirror when I’m natural - it’s a silent protest and a huge screw you to society to flex my natural hair - I will no longer contribute to the ever growing wealthy wig/weave industry that profits from blk women more than it’s a benefit to us. - I choose to - I love my hair Stay naturally pretty 🤎🤎
