I was married for 40 years to a Filipina and it was an amazing and happy marriage. Last year I married a Filipina who is absolutely the center of my universe. Women like this make me angry since so many will think all women from the Philippines are like that......most are awesome like the two loves in my life. Thanks for your VLOGS they are wonderful.
Feb 2024 please talk about healthcare that’s available for free, I know of 3 Filipinas asking my father for money for surgeries, always a different story. They have followed the same pattern as this girl
@@42ouncesofPAIN so true & well said. It's a game of 5D chess out there.....just meet the girl before you start splashing the cash, use your noodle, not your poodle, before committing. Actually, a 'gut feeling' is pretty accurate but, above all a physical confrontation is a good judge of honesty!
@@aw-zz5yo that's why that target older single guys easier to manipulate a lonely old man ( especially if they are a couple of months out of a long marriage ) than a young man
This was a great, albeit sad interview Pea. I have such love and admiration for Filipinas. I’m guilty of putting them on a pedestal in my mind and heart because of the qualities exhibited by the one’s I have met both here in the US and in Philippines. Thank you for sharing this information and content. It was both informative and kind of depressing. That woman lost her “ Filipina” card.
I'm saddened by how the cycle of poverty in the Philippines includes and systemizes dishonesty. Once a person incorporates lies and deception into their everyday lives, it becomes pervasive and eventually part of their personality. And probably gets passed on to their children. Thank you, Miss Pea. Brave and useful, as always.
Sorry but I'm a Filipino and I have no sympathy for her, especially since she's married. I know foreigners find it easy to pity her, but she doesn't deserve any pity. She along with her husband can get a job but she chooses to go for the "easy money"
She doesn’t realize the damage she doing to the men she’s scamming, playing with their emotions, it can be devastating! She’s also hurting her boyfriend, deceiving and lying to him. But ultimately she’s hurting herself, ill gotten gains never last and are completely unfulfilling. She’s headed down a dark and lonely road that will ruin her in the end!
the only time the scammer gets hurt is if someone actively tries to expose and hurt them. Her bf is either clueless, or doesn't care, so he's not hurting right now (ignorance is bliss). many scammers have rich fulfilling lives, and "ill gotten gains" last as long as righteous gotten gains so long as she can successfully hide her gains from the government and others.
This is 1000% why I like you so much, my friend! You are completely honest and open about everything! Not to mention you have an amazing sense of humor and are a very smart woman. Don't ever change! You are amazing just the way you are! Thanks for sharing with all of us again! Take care and God bless everyone! Love you all!
The funny thing is that lonely guys won't believe you. Can't tell you how many times I have heard guys say,"yea but my girl is not like that she is different, she really loves me." They have a need to believe. Another great video Pea and a good service too. It helps your countrys reputation and maybe saves a few guys from pain and humiliation. Thanks
Was scammed when I was younger so I know that what she said is completely true. Wish I knew then what I know now. Great video, Pea! I hope it helped a lot of guys. I also hope that she will somehow find something else that doesn’t involve other’s feelings. 🙏🏻
Got to relate though they are desperate, if you were in her situation and you knew you could make alot of money doing this I'm sure, even if you deny it, you would really consider doing it, it's easy to say now that you wouldn't but put yourself in her situation you have a baby no income, it Is very hard to find a good source of income in the Philippines, most likely you would do it.
Excuse is one thing, reason is another. The other thing I would ask is about the depersonalisation of the Internet - are these, in her mind, even human beings she is talking to or just depersonalised voices over an Internet conversation? Would she be able to do this if she was dealing with 'real' people, people she can see as flesh and blood? There are so many cases where people will do things, or say things, in an Internet conversation that they would never do face to face. Again, I am not making excuses, just trying to understand the mindset. What I feel at least as concerned about is that she currently has a boyfriend yet she is saying she would still be open to having a romantic relationship with one of her marks (i.e. she is less than fully committed to he current boyfriend).
I was scammed by a Filipina even met her in angeles city last November for a week. As soon as you pop that “offer some money” bubble there is no knowing if they are real or a scammer, like the Filipina pea said tell them I don’t send money to someone I have not met in person yet otherwise you will muddy the water and not know what’s going on. I’ve since met a great Filipina I’ve started chatting to and she won’t even let me mention the word money. Thank you for the video Filipina pea :)
The Filipina Pea - correct, and I’m soo happy that I learnt from my mistake and moved on. Thank you for the videos I’m loving them and I’m still learning for about your culture through your channel. I’m now just waiting for the Australian border to the Philippines to open again to go see the lady I’ve been talking to so we can see if the chemistry is there in person. She is trying to teach me Cebu dialect I’m doing my best to not make her and her workmates laugh at my Aussie accent with it hahaha. If you want information from someone on the other side of the scam let me now I’ll send you some of my experience and knowledge from what happened to me and what I learnt to find out the truth. Cheers
True scammer will play the long game and gain your trust first. Then will start to slowly and carefully manipulate you. These girls could give a Harvard psychologists a run for their money. If your relatively fresh out of a long term relationship, then very easy prey.
An interesting insight. However, she gives the Philippines and Filipinas a bad name. This should be an illegal , with a stern penalty. I suspect most guys online know about these scams. Definitely she should be avoided. I dont believe that her family or boyfriend doesn't know what she's up to, as they all benefit from her scamming.
No doubt this not a "nice" person. But she is not selling a product or service, just lying - and not in a court. How do you criminalize lying? It is "criminal" that some people are too gullible and send money freely.
If a getleman pursues and finds out through a PI in the Philippines, and pursues recouping their losses, he can. I saw one documentary on TH-cam in Philippines on this. The woman was married andnthe husband knew about the scam. They were prosecuted.
WOW, this is another eye opener. Every expat in every country needs to see this, it's not something specific to Philippines at all. Every expat is likely to encounter these scammers and needs to know how to cut them off and protect themselves. I posted your video on several FB expat groups I am in. I'm also on dateinasia and will post your video there several times over the next few days in their chat rooms.
@@TheFilipinaPea I got quite a lot of pushback saying your FOS etc. Heck you even dare to say you don't like to date filipino men. Gosh. One valid (I think) criticism is that telling a woman you meet online, right at the beginning, that you're not going to send her money, is of course going to make the scammers go away and also the good ones. Maybe wait until the first time she asks for money?
I have no respect for anyone that plays with another person's heart, I have more respect for bank robber than I do in emotional scammer, male female it doesn't matter if you play with somebody's heart you damage them for life.
who would be stupid enough to fall in love and spend money to somebody that they never even met? Basic common sense and logic would prevent any scam from occurring.
Yes i been there before and even new her family and was played right before i was going to go she had a boyfriend from Netherlands and i was going to marry and do paperwork and her family almost disowned her and couldn't believe what she did to me
Funny, these are my favorites. The trick is to actually live there so you can meet in person. Look as stupid as you can and she will have no problems giving you a bit of what you are looking for in exchange of future payoffs...and then you are gone.
Once again Miss Pea, you provide knowledge and insight. I am surprised you are not spending all of your time being chased by adoring men. You are the crown jewel!
Another great interview Pea, the look on your face while you were interviewing her just wow. You are working harder than any one I know it must have been hard not to tell her what you think of what she's doing. God bless stay safe
Unfortunately must admit, that I’ve been there, and done that. Yep been scammed a few times. Another excellent and educational video. Thank you for exposing the truth about these scammers. 👏👏👏
@@TheFilipinaPea Many profiles on even "Christian" dating sites list themselves as "separated". One word to reel the sucker heads in. $$$$ all the way to the bank. 😅🤣
I've known plenty of lady's in the western countries I've lived in to do the same and that was before the Internet.men as well can scam women, met a few of them not nice people .unfortunaely you need to know where to put your trust.not always easy.great vid pea.
This is excellent investigative journalism, Pea. Kudos for convincing April to do the interview and praise for April's bravery. Thank you for illuminating this issue with your truth-light.
Well done Pea, on a number of levels. First for choosing such and difficult subject, reporting well and honestly. Secondly while interviewing your 'dislike' for scammers wasn't obtrusive although it came across after the interview, and your 'understanding' why many Filipina's do get sucked into sex work because getting a job in Philippines is expensive and difficult. So well done! (PS I liked your dress - it looked really good! and congratulations on setting up this channel and making such a success nearly 40k subscribers in a few months!)
The fact that she looked down when you asked her if her parents knew she was scamming and then looked left and right when asked about the bf is the tell all that they all know and she can’t even be honest about that.... she literally could not care less if she’s stealing money from other people
She is not stealing, they are sending it to her. Just because they got their feelings hurt doesn't make it a crime. It's not stealing if they are giving.
Pea what would anyone do if that they were hungry and the whole family too? We call them gold digger and sniffers.Men are at fault for establishing this market. Who in the world would send a photo some money or even of god. Sh..ttttttttttt? buttt naked firm or whatever it’s a fool’s mistake. Keeping coming Pea....you are our number 1# thumbs up👍🏼👍🏼
'Desperate times call for drastic measures.' Who am I to judge, rather I count my blessings, choosing to live and let live. I'll add an observation, along with my thanks to you as these vids actually represent many hours of background effort on your part...and they assist my taking the pulse of this planet. I've noticed how most men, prior to the age of 50, focus on what they can get...education, careers, promotions, houses, automobiles, etc....once beyond 50 they've acquired most everything and so their perspectives embrace what it is they can give. Where I hear experienced men of the world cry foul over love and money, I simply smile and shake my head.
Along with your other points, thank you so much for recognizing the work that goes into my videos - they usually take 3 days each to research, write, polish, shoot, edit, and post. Unlike some channels, I spend every waking hour working, so it’s nice to see someone who recognizes that! 😆
I appreciate you tackling this subject. It’s a Shame that these things exist. No matter what spin you put on it they are taking advantage of the CARING and COMPASSIONATE Nature of People....
@@TheFilipinaPea Oh BTW if I would have WON the T-Shirt I could not Wear it. I’m guessing your an X-tra SMALL ? your soo Cute, Tiny and Adorable! Hopefully you Autographed it ..?????
If you ever win a shirt (I’ll be doing more), I’ll make it for you in any size you want, and autograph it with whatever inscription you can come up with 😆
I dumped about two thirds of the girls on the dating sites by telling them I was retired in the Philippines. That got rid of the ones looking for a ticket stateside and having a guy physically present who isn't on any sort of set schedule messes up having somebody on the side. What finally drove me off the sites were the bot's sending flurries of messages right before the monthly renewal is due.
At first I was thinking if this was something she wouldn't have done if it wasn't for the pandemic, but that changed as soon as she said it wasn't worth getting a real job.
First time I was scammed it was a shock to me, it didn’t occur that apparently sweet women could be so heartless. For April - I don’t judge her as I haven’t lived her life, karma will be the arbiter. It’s valuable to demonstrate this phenomenon in case anyone doubts it happens. Fantastic presentation Pea! Thank you very much for making this so clear😀
You should judge her.. she could make money by making and selling food like millions of other Filipinos do.. but she's lazy and would rather scam people. Shame on her
Great topic, one that should be drilled into older men's minds...."assume you are being targeted,") you will have a different view of what is going on. I was involved in 2 failed scams .....the nany working in China and her contract is expiring and wants to relocate, but her phone camera is broken so you never really see her, other than the posted photo...they play for a big score....I led them on to believe that I would send them what they were looking for......waited for sending instructions and I waited a couple of days to let their hopes build......then I let them know that their scam had failed...reported them with email proof and there profile was removed.
Had the same (or similar at least) nanny scam tried on me as well. In my case the employer wouldn't allow the use of a video camera in the house and she was always working under the harsh conditions of the employer so never had time elsewhere. Funny how all the photos were of a beautiful woman who'd give most models a run for their money, the photos of the house I requested were all the type you'd get from a real estate site, and the employer (despite being harsh) was keen to help her find a man. Would text constantly, and was one audio chat which was supposed to "prove" she was real. Never directly asked for money, BUT constantly referred me to a particular travel agent their employer used to somehow get past the Australian travel restrictions (like a "private" Chinese company had any hope of getting past Australian immigration). Travel agency seemed to check out until I noticed they were about a thousand kilometres away from where she and the employer were supposed to be living. Further investigation showed this travel agency thing is a definite scam (although this was a slightly new twist on it). Of course absolutely no money was sent to anyone and when I called her on it she tried the whole "you don't love me" sob story....
As you say, meeting them in person. Once you meet in person and a relationship is established you will understand just how dire the circumstances in the Philippines is. Even if marriage is the objective and you are processing a visa caution is still the name of the game.
You did it again. Another great interview. What impressed me about you is that you were trying hard to disguise your distaste for some of the things she said. You're a star.
PS: Dear Pea, your Easter egg today reminds us, if needed, that there is a beautiful mind and a superb intellect, barely hidden within the beautiful woman on the screen. Hat off! A lesson in modesty 😃
Great video Pea..as always asking the tough questions..I would get passed over because I would be the guy that wouldn’t send money..I took a course from professor pea😊
Philippines in the US tell you they're so sad because their relatives are so sick and need money for medicine . I tell them that my religion prohibit me from giving money for those purposes , that the best thing i can do for them is pray . Usually they leave meafter that .
Hey Pea, I wish I watched this very informative video of yours you made 3 years ago. Because 3 years ago I had just lost my wife to cancer and started chatting to what I thought were nice filipinas about one year later or 2 years ago. I was very lonely and just wanted a friend to chat with and joined several dating sites to meet a nice filipina. Was I scammed. Yes and a lot. Never big sums but scammed mulitiple times by multiple scammers. Over time I realized what they were doing. Even today while looking for friendship they appear. So, I've cancelled the dating sites and will wait to meet someone when I eventually move to the Philippines some time next year. That is after I make a intro trip to see if the Philipines are for me or not. This video maybe 3 years ago, but its still very pertinent today. Most of your videos are timeless. Thanks for all that you do. Bill
Kudos to you, Pea. You are exposing so many of the struggles to survive in the Phillipines. I have been there twice with my wife, a filipina as well but one who left early and made it on her own. It's a beautiful country but with so much desperation. I hope your videos will affect change for the wonderful people of the Philipines.
@@TheFilipinaPea Just imaging this. say your be a old man alone, webcamming a nice young lady ever evening for some hours, she acting happy, sexy with a great smile and give him a good feeling ever day, ones a month he sent her some 2 or 3k peso, which would have cost him an average of 30~40 pesos per hour for having his entertainment happy time ever day, the only problem will be if he things all being a real love, but if he know it,s for him just a sweet dream and have a sheap entertainment
Yes, I sent money to my 'girlfriend' for over 2 years. It was only when another scammer told me she was scamming, that I opened my eyes. It still hurts. Not the money, the emotional pain. The piggery I supposedly built, the husband she married and the guy she got pregnant with. Thank you for posting Pea.
Okay after watching this i feel the need to tell everyone my experience with a Philappina bride. I met her online she was 15 years my junior. I went to meet her, I met her family. I want to say her family was awesome. We did the marriage visa went through the entire prosses. She was here and my wife for three years. She then began to cheat on me and even became pregnant. (not by me) She then started telling everyone in the local Philippine community how i was abusive to her and even put a gun in her face. Nothing but lies. She of course told her family all these lies. She also told me I hate your sons gutts and am through with your grand children. What could an inocent one year old do to her. Im just saying be careful and aware. I also want to say. Philippinos in general are the most kind people i have ever met. Very kind and giving God bless them all. I would love to meet another one. NOT APRIL.
Hi Pea. I saw on another channel that a guy was being scammed in person in the Philippines. That is to say his girlfriend was getting money from him when she already had a boyfriend and baby. So guys ... it’s not just online. Don’t think it’s safe in person. Keep your eyes open and the beer cold. Peace ✌️
when there is scammer like that arround it makes it difficult to some men that really want to meet and really want to fall in love with a filipina. There will be no trust at the start off it all
Hello Pea, you are first person I have prescribe to. I think your videos are great and informative. I have recently started a long distance a filipina that is working in China as a domestic helper. She seems like an honest woman. Your videos have helped me a lot, thank you Pea 😊
After 5 years chatting to many Filipinas, virtually every single one has asked for money and that’s been their primary focus. I’ve made two trips over to visit two different women and one actually lived with her bf, her fellow scammer. Their families are usually in on it too. The other woman I met a few years before, some guy appeared months later claiming to be her bf 😂 The secret is, give them nothing. Problem solved 👌
Yep no need for a long talk about this,.. I really do not like this kind of scam, I do not have a problem with people hustling for a living,. But as you said, deception and lies are not the way to go.
She has a boyfriend that doesn't take care of her. She does same to her boyfriend like the foreigners. Living life by a cod of honesty is a healthy foundation. Seems like she does not have any morals in life just excuses.... there are millions of people in the same situation and they don't do this. She wishes to have a relationship but dishonesty will have a price... what goes around comes around 100%
.... quit with the "what goes around comes around" and with the "karma's a bitch" that's not true, at all.. if it were, people like Trump and Bush and Clinton wouldn't have the luxurious life they have... for "what comes around goes around" to happen... you have make it go around, and be active in justice and fairness, not just .. oh well I'm sure it'll happen to them at some point and then go on about your business.
Wow… eye opening! Listening very careful to her words really paints the picture. Listen closely gentlemen… Ultimately we can control this. If you don’t want to get taken for a ride… Don’t get in the ride!!
I'm from the u.s. and I live in a poor area and have worked hard to make extra money I'm married already and have never looked for Filipina person but if I was going to test a scammer $200 or 40 bucks is exactly how I would do it. it's good to see that, that kind of money goes a long way but it doesn't sound like any of those guys weren't strategizing ahead of her. it can be shocking how other humans end up in a bad way this comment doesn't really have a point it's just my unprofessional opinion that those kind of men were willing to give her so much more than $40 or $200 and she keeps failing the test lol ps these videos are fire And make me and my wife want to visit
This was a great video. I'm surprised that April agreed to appear on your video. You also gave her a couple of new ideas for scams. If someone is asking you for money after a couple of days, you should assume they scamming you; it's common sense. But i think some people think they're just poor and that's why they asking for money instead of being a scammer. I completely agree with your point about the call girls versus the scammers.
She's obviously an attractive woman, who could also obviously meet a nice guy to look after her. It's sad that she has chosen this path, does she think this is a long term career? 😕 I'm lucky my filipina still loves me, and can't wait to be with me. A good video Pea.☺👍
She is still fairly young. She is also better looking than the vast majority of the woman you would encounter walking down the street on some lazy Sunday morning in the US. Men are so thirsty here in the US that I have seen some hit on and go after women who are overweight, with dyed ugly short hair, tatooes, heavy drinkers, bad hygiene, and on some occasions Even smoke. Some have kids from different men . Who have ridden the carousel many times and still want a prince charming . Did I mention with terrible attitudes? So I don't agree with men who look for love online therefore falling for scammers from the Philippines but I get it.
This is one of several reasons why Western men who are serious about finding love in the Philippines should avoid "Dating" sites like the plague. Before I get a chorus of "How do you meet them if you don't use Dating sites?", two things: 1) The Internet didn't always exist. How did people find love in the Philippines before the Internet, without going over there? Yet they did, and mostly very successfully. (I myself was one!) Try and think how guys did it without the Internet. 2) By their very nature, Dating sites are basically a scam themselves. It is NOT in their interests for you to find love. If you found Love, that would mean you would mean the end of you as a cash cow. So the odds are heavily stacked against you right from the start. It also makes life easy for people like this woman. The site doesn't mind if they're scammers, just as long as they keep the revenue coming in. How can this possibly be the best way to find Love!?
Again you’re channel is really the best information on the reality of many topics and real understanding the Philippines. I’ve watched many channels and tried to understand the Philippines before I visited and especially before I lived there the first time. The bottom line is a man needs to say “I’m not sending money” but also don’t get fooled by a pretty face and say “I’m in love and think it’s a relationship” She is your chat mate and doesn’t know you and you don’t know her until you spend time together. Seriously, why would they think that a girl that just they met online and chat with for weeks, months or a year is the same in person and it could be love? We know our coworkers for years and find out things that we never knew because we only see them or talk to them at work. We know that men have been seeking “mail order brides” for decades and scammers have been taking advantage of this for just as long.
I enjoyed this video. As an older divorced man, who is able to question my own motives and look at others as not always wright or wrong, I found your ability to show the dark side of a subject with little bias as positive asset. It is a quality to be able to identify placing a person's intellect over emotions and to be able to look clearly at oneself . I commend you. Previous videos have strengthen my awareness of my own prejudice and for that I am grateful to you.
Miss Pea,you the best,I love the way you go in and pull out truth. I was ready for her to say “ what must I do to be saved”....lol. Please continue to educate the disillusioned about the pitfalls of online dating. Your boy had to learn the hard way. Much love
Girl has gotta eat. That’s pretty typical to hide money from their BF, or husband. It’s not just a scammers MO. Women all over the world are doing it! Lol very good video
Thanks for this video, Pea. I got a friend request on FB from a Pinay that I had no connection with. Besides telling me that I am handsome, and sending me a few messages, she had little to say... until today. She messaged me saying she badly needed help. I sent her the link to this video. I haven't heard back from her. Oh, sweet silence.
I am 51, divorced, but there is absolutely zero chance for me to send money to someone I never met, I don’t even give or send money to women I have met & know, I pay for dinner when we go out, buy birthday gifts or Valentine’s Day gifts when together, This woman is a scammer and doing her job, so it’s the men’s fault for sending money to a total stranger.
You never read this, but am so heart touched by this and all your videos amazing honest caring beautiful intelligent insightful thank you, you helped me I feel the plight of the Philippines people, I been many times there in fact out of the last 14 months I spent 11 months in lapu lapu, ii love Philippines and hoping to find a good woman to be my wife, you have helped no end thank you princess
Very informative, thank you. I'm American, married to a Filipina, however my wife & I met under entirely different circumstances. We have two children now and we're always planning for success and reaching our goals together. So, as I said, I've never been scammed. But my foreigner friends whom still live in the U.S. have trolled my Filipina friends list and my friends quickly became targets of scammers.
Just joined a dating site(PinaLove) for the first time in my life while planning a trip to the Philippines and gotta say...Some of these girls are pretty much professional at what they try to do, while the restless ones ask for money during the first chat. Keep your radar on. 😂 Some of these young women seem rare gems tho and I’ve gotten many of tips on where the best places are to visit and there are no many foreigners around as I really dislike tourist traps. Way too many beautiful places to check out with my first run but I still got time left. 😊 I’d like to know more about safety in the more remote areas in the Philippines, like Zamboanga etc. if it’s a good idea to go there. I can handle myself against an unarmed person or a few but are weapons and kidnappings still a problem there? There’s a lot of noise but no clear picture on this topic.
If you accept my advice, I wouldn't start chatting now. Unless you can actually travel there, which I don't think you can unless you're a diplomat, have a long-term visa already or are married to a Filipina (lol). I say this, because even if you find an honest and sweet girl online, you'll jump on a defacto LDR without knowing when you'll be able to see each other. Moreover, and this is the important thing, people are definitely NOT the same in person than online. Nobody is. And you (and her) may get locked into who knows how many months of emotional chatting, feeding the hype and probably getting disappointed afterwards. On the other hand, if you plan on visiting a lot of places, I assure you'll attract the "wrong" kind of girls if you tell them you'll stay for just some weeks on each place. If you want to have fun on that island hopping, you'll be able to find girls that are okay with that, but the "gems" you look for don't play tour guide (with or without benefits) with nobody. Even less in the South and the provinces where everybody is going to label them blindlingly fast. This is already a wall of text, lol, but I'd recommend you don't obsess over location. A LOT of honest hard-working young women go to the big cities to work, and those are the ones you should strive for. I'm not telling you to look for a "career" woman, but settling for an unemployed lazy pretty thing is asking for the same problems you can have in the West. Make sure of getting a non-allergic-to-work girl under your wing, and then you can treat her as your queen.
I've sent money before, however when I can clearly see their children have health issues. Brought about by poor diet and malnutrition. I don't care if its classed as a scam. 🇬🇧🇵🇭
My sweetie needs a job as caregiver in Antipolo.how do i help her?not your cup of tea i know !but where do i start stuck in thailand?she had a certified...sorry pea to load you down!love your stuff!
Yeah -- whats one hundred bucks. Far cheaper than helping out a female here in my home country eg, “would you go personal guarantee on this loan for me” NOPE
@@TheFilipinaPea and that the kids was actually hers- cause i have heard some women borrow babies for the job. But I have to confess, I have also sent some. Not to scammers really, I was 100% sure there was a need and she didn't even ask..and I wasn't interested in her as a partner, but she was a good chatmate! Not sure why did lady accepted this interview though!
Oh ms pea you hit on a topic that so very true. She is why its so hard to meet a phillipina online on those dating sites. For someone to scam the innocent men out here who are looking for a girlfriend or possible wife, i say this because i saw thru alot of the scammers.
Excellent video as always. Just want to ad another way to increase anyone's suspicion they are talking to a scammer. Beware of any girl who immediately wants to divert your chats to WhatsApp or occasionally Skype. They do not want to leave a trail of asking for money on the dating site. Some of the sites, but not all, will boot the profile of an obvious scammer.
My buddy met a girl on Filipino Cupid. He said there’s hundreds who do this. He said that he asked to video chat before he would talk to anyone. Most wouldn’t do it. I don’t get giving money to anyone I don’t know.
This was eye opening. She was brave to come forward and shared some insight. However, stealing is always wrong no matter what. I know there's a lot of desperate people out there, but taking other people hard earned money is flat out wrong. There's got to be a better way. Deceiving someone for anything is an evil act. I hope and pray that she changes course. She is only 23 yrs old and she already gives up on trying to live a decent life. I'm not in her situation, but stealing is not the way to go. At the end of the day, that's her life and she can do whatever she wants with it. Those actions will hunt her later. You are doing such an excellent job Philipina Pea. Much appreciation for you.
I suppose I am fortunate because my Filipina has never asked me for a thing ! Have I helped her and her 3 young sons; yes, but it's my choice! I get that there are no jobs with 50% unemployment, but I can't help but feel sorry for all involved !
Thank you Pea. I have met a few scammers through online dating and all my scammers immediately started asking for money and when I said no, they moved on to other men. Thank you for talking about these things....

yeah 20000 peso a month should be 20000 a day more like it
I've never been married cause I know the system give women power and control of the man in America, true PIMPIN!!
This is the best comment I've seen in quite some time
hahahahahahahaha the same club
LOL
HAHAHAHA
True my friend.
Thanks for watching, Jerry, and best of luck to you both!
i lived in the Philippines for 10 years and this lady in the interview pretty much represented the majority of the girls I observed there.
Feb 2024 please talk about healthcare that’s available for free, I know of 3 Filipinas asking my father for money for surgeries, always a different story. They have followed the same pattern as this girl
Just never send money no matter what thats how you avoid scammers.
Another deterrent: "I'm not interested in marriage or children."
it's hard to believe fools like that exist, but it's for real.
@@mrc6182 That's more of a deterrent to good girls. Scammers hear you don't want marriage or children and they will double down on scamming you.
Brave and useful, as always.
right, it dehumanizes foreigners as nothing more than a giant $.
its not only in the PP its everywhere you have access to online dating scammers are everywhere
She’s headed down a dark and lonely road that will ruin her in the end!
any idiot that would send money to these girls without even meeting them were already emotionally damaged people.
The men are trying to take advantage of her poverty, so it's tit for tat imo.
That is so very true. Toying with emotions is horrible.
the only time the scammer gets hurt is if someone actively tries to expose and hurt them.
Thanks so much for watching, AICS!! 😊
@@TheFilipinaPea You are welcome. David

Thanks
Yes, exactly, Dc8 - I get so frustrated when I get proof a woman is cheating/scamming, and a guy just won’t accept it! It’s crazy
Was scammed when I was younger so I know that what she said is completely true.
Wish I knew then what I know now.
Great video, Pea! I hope it helped a lot of guys. I also hope that she will somehow find something else that doesn’t involve other’s feelings. 🙏🏻
I have always known this...but it is something else to actually hear a woman say it out loud. Great job, Pea!
Nope. No excuse to play with peoples hearts and emotions just for personal gain. It really tells about a persons morals and character. Shame on her!
Indeed!
Exactly, she could get an actual online job but decides to play with men. What a total embarrassment of a human being.
Agreed. As a single man who has been all alone during the pandemic, I have fended off MANY scams of this nature.
She won’t even mention money? You, my friend, might have found a keeper! And yes, there are plenty of us out there 😊
The Filipina Pea - correct, and I’m soo happy that I learnt from my mistake and moved on. Cheers
Oh man, and I've really thought Angles City is the very last trustworthy place in the Philippines. I'm so disappointed.
😂
Be very careful. Some of these women really know how to get money out of men.
And it’s much more common than most of you guys think 😔
I know exactly how the Filipina lie, I'm married to one.
They were prosecuted.
are you thinking girl you are also a filipina.are you truly happy what are you doing
Thanks so much, Joe!
(so I can expect a wave of angry scammers descending on my channel?) 😆
Bring ‘em on!!
Been using these apps for a week or so and I must say that this is % 100 accurate. Thanks again Ms pea for a informative video.
I have no respect for anyone that plays with another person's heart, I have more respect for bank robber than I do in emotional scammer, male female it doesn't matter if you play with somebody's heart you damage them for life.
I tend to agree with you, Rj!! 😊
At least, bank robbers are stealing professionnal thieves...
its tru male. female does that. good luck to good people
who would be stupid enough to fall in love and spend money to somebody that they never even met? Basic common sense and logic would prevent any scam from occurring.
Yes i been there before and even new her family and was played right before i was going to go she had a boyfriend from Netherlands and i was going to marry and do paperwork and her family almost disowned her and couldn't believe what she did to me
when i see that a woman puts in her profile that she is looking for a "generous" man, i always auto-translate that to "sucker" LOL
Funny, these are my favorites. The trick is to actually live there so you can meet in person. Look as stupid as you can and she will have no problems giving you a bit of what you are looking for in exchange of future payoffs...and then you are gone.

I’m glad you enjoyed it, Dale!
You did a pretty good job on this interview Pea, thanks . . . I'll withhold the obvious impressions of this girl.
It's not stealing if they are giving.
it is stealing because she is using lies to get them to send money.

Wow, thanks for that info, Joe!!! 😊

Well in this case, karma’s a bitch! 😆
You should judge her.. she could make money by making and selling food like millions of other Filipinos do.. but she's lazy and would rather scam people. Shame on her
How many times before you woke up?
Yep. Men try to take advantage of her poverty, and she tries to take advantage of their wealth.
Mostly she hasn’t lied or scammed. She needs money, she asks for help, they give. What’s the problem?
Great topic, one that should be drilled into older men's minds...."assume you are being targeted,") you will have a different view of what is going on. I was involved in 2 failed scams .....the nany working in China and her contract is expiring and wants to relocate, but her phone camera is broken so you never really see her, other than the posted photo...they play for a big score....I led them on to believe that I would send them what they were looking for......waited for sending instructions and I waited a couple of days to let their hopes build......then I let them know that their scam had failed...reported them with email proof and there profile was removed.
Now THATS instant karma (I like that) 😊
good for you
5 minutes later they had another one
Yep always video chat before hand. I've gotten pics from 20yrs ago.
Bingo, Paul! MEET them, and be cautious - just like they should be when meeting you
(especially you, Paul)

I'm lucky my filipina still loves me, and can't wait to be with me.

@@Gurkha9 20,000 Philippines peso is equal to $414 US dollars, which is considered a decent salary in Philippines.
This is one of several reasons why Western men who are serious about finding love in the Philippines should avoid "Dating" sites like the plague. Before I get a chorus of "How do you meet them if you don't use Dating sites?", two things:
1) The Internet didn't always exist.
I met my gf on a dating app and she doesn’t ask for money. So no some people get lucky
Thank you for sharing this video Pea. Have to admit I love the T-shirt too. Moving forward to your next videos as I leave tips along the way👍👍
Again you’re channel is really the best information on the reality of many topics and real understanding the Philippines.
I may not agree with the way they do things by scamming people, but I understand. Signed Glenn.
And she has no incentive to ever stop .....
@@TheFilipinaPea Sad that April has to do that, from what I heard, she does it for her and her baby, made me cry.
John wick .she does jt because she is greedy .no morals and lazy.
I hope the old foreign men are taking notes 📝 She is giving you her playbook for free.
Yup, here the raw truth!
Warning the real scams go down when you are "dating". A good friend of mine got taken for about £25,000.
However cheaper than a divorce 😁🇬🇧
That will teach him not to simp.
An expensive lesson but a lesson nonetheless.
Thank you for another insightful vid. I always say having info on what to do or what not to do makes life better.
It sure does, Bunny!
The money is going to feed her family, in away she's truthful. If you want to meet a real scammer, I will introduce you to my ex wife 😁🇵🇭🇬🇧
The same here do you want her number
Thats nice 🤣🤣 next time be careful
Hahahahaha
I think I’ll pass on that, thanks ....... 😆
I think I know her! Lol
same here she had it all n now penniless BF, guessing to him she not as attractive now the $ dried up lol
How can I get a scamming job
It sounds way easier than working
Lol
A fool and his money are easily parted.
Good work Pea.
All you need is a phone and some nerve, apparently
There’s a special place in hell for you
She is so honest its scarry ... wow
Yes, it’s almost ...... sociopathic?
@@TheFilipinaPea absolutely... no shame in her 👨👩👧👦😅
BS ... if she would be honest, she wouldn't be a scammer.
Great job on this one Pea! Well placed ad's, top notch content and a neutral position on a charged topic you are evolving into a beautiful butterfly
Miss Pea,you the best,I love the way you go in and pull out truth. I was ready for her to say “ what must I do to be saved”....lol. Please continue to educate the disillusioned about the pitfalls of online dating. Your boy had to learn the hard way. Much love
Ohhhh you got scammed too, Rodney? 😔
The Filipina Pea yup
Girl has gotta eat. That’s pretty typical to hide money from their BF, or husband. It’s not just a scammers MO. Women all over the world are doing it! Lol very good video
Thanks Robin - glad you enjoyed it!! 😊
Thanks Robin - glad you enjoyed it!! 😊
That was a nice interview, but now she gona loose clients......
It’s okay, in just one week she’ll have 10 new ones 😆
@@TheFilipinaPea that is true.....people is bored and alone....they need to talk to someone.....
I only send money to a Philipin foundation ..C.U.R.E they do a great job
@@TheFilipinaPea totally
Its just a numbers game for these scammers. They know that maybe 1 guy in 5 or 10 will pay.
Yup, she’s what I call the ‘hit and run’ scammer that I described in my Dont Feed the Scammers video 😊
@@TheFilipinaPea (You shoulda made the "Don't Feed the Scammers" video line into a link. Just sayin'.
I am 51, divorced, but there is absolutely zero chance for me to send money to someone I never met, I don’t even give or send money to women I have met & know, I pay for dinner when we go out, buy birthday gifts or Valentine’s Day gifts when together,
This woman is a scammer and doing her job, so it’s the men’s fault for sending money to a total stranger.
April!!! I thought you loved me for real???😢😢
Hahahahaha
Maybe she does? But apparently she’ll still never tell you she was scamming you 😆
You never read this, but am so heart touched by this and all your videos amazing honest caring beautiful intelligent insightful thank you, you helped me I feel the plight of the Philippines people, I been many times there in fact out of the last 14 months I spent 11 months in lapu lapu, ii love Philippines and hoping to find a good woman to be my wife, you have helped no end thank you princess
OMG, cannot stop laughing. You are funny!
Does this girl regard herself as a criminal? she should. She is well presented and could get a job. Typical, she even cheats her own boyfriend.
She's not
a criminal, she doesn't force anybody to send money. She uses what she has to get money. Life is hard in both way
Wow great content ate... I have heard the baby needs milk a million times hehe...Especially during covid19 ..
@UCrm4tEQqTrUP3MwB2G1mjHw 😂🤣😂
I found her comment ‘interesting’, given the size of her breasts 😆
(I could feed a whole village with those things)
@@TheFilipinaPea haha you are to funny
Haha 🤣, you thought that as well Pea.
Thank you , Sweet Pea, You're the best!
I’m glad you think so! 😂👍
Just joined a dating site(PinaLove) for the first time in my life while planning a trip to the Philippines and gotta say...Some of these girls are pretty much professional at what they try to do, while the restless ones ask for money during the first chat. Keep your radar on. 😂
Some of these young women seem rare gems tho and I’ve gotten many of tips on where the best places are to visit and there are no many foreigners around as I really dislike tourist traps. Way too many beautiful places to check out with my first run but I still got time left. 😊
I’d like to know more about safety in the more remote areas in the Philippines, like Zamboanga etc. if it’s a good idea to go there. I can handle myself against an unarmed person or a few but are weapons and kidnappings still a problem there? There’s a lot of noise but no clear picture on this topic.
Yes, I would advise foreigners to avoid the far south in the Mindanao area!
Scammers can be everywhere.
Western gold diggers are worst.
Yes, they can be plain vicious!
but those are legal scams. The government enforces child support and alimony.
I've sent money before, however when I can clearly see their children have health issues. Brought about by poor diet and malnutrition. I don't care if its classed as a scam. 🇬🇧🇵🇭
Yup, sometimes humanitarian concerns override the scam - I just hope the money makes it to the kids mouth, and not her boyfriend’s belly
Yes, good point Robert! 😊
My buddy met a girl on Filipino Cupid. He said there’s hundreds who do this. He said that he asked to video chat before he would talk to anyone. Most wouldn’t do it. I don’t get giving money to anyone I don’t know.
I sure wouldn’t give my money away like that, but guys do it everyday!
Let your heart be your guide in your case 😊
Haha .the best scammer gets money with out asking ... THREE kids ?
Instant family.
Thank you Pea. I have met a few scammers through online dating and all my scammers immediately started asking for money and when I said no, they moved on to other men. Thank you for talking about these things....
