Must be "near sighted"! I see it with car drivers,ALL THE TIME. Change lanes, 5 feet from the blocked lane, after passing signs for the last mile.
It's funny the clip that started at 3 minutes and 15 seconds or so I automatically assume the boat pointing the wrong direction was the problem boat it took me a minute or so to realize it was the larger boat on the left
"Hey,Gilligan, your drive is down." Seems like the saying for this one.
I have 4 fenders on my boat, I put two out on each side just in case you have to switch sides of the dock for what ever reason.

im half tempted to go sit at boat ramps and charge $5 to launch or load a boat.. A person could make a living out of that this day and age.. Kind of like Valet for Boats.
The first time you accidently bump some truck or boat all the profits are out the window. Even if they would've done 10× worse damage

@@laa0fa502 Just make sure you carry full covergae insurance on anything you drive.. Like $200 a month here in indiana..

@@laa0fa502 Thats a whole different story..Im just talking backing a boat down or jumping off the dock on to the boat to load on the trailer.. Full coverage insurance covers you on anything you drive or have control off aka trailers.

Perhaps the Coast Guard Auxiliary should be more concerned with boat ramp safety instead of counting life jackets and fire extinguishers...
I see what you are saying and kind of agree, but the latter you mentioned can cost lives whereas the earlier only costs time (and stress!)
