If this book feels overwhelming I highly recommend color and light by james gurney, he discusses the same things in a more digestable manner and how it applies to illustration. But if you want to get into the details and subtopics of those definitely pick this artist master series color and light book up.
if this is intermediate what book is recommended for beginners? thank you! :D I'm really trying to learn and not from some guys that do youtube videos for 2 years :) (I'm not talking about you) I want a book
