    I do most of these thing as the tech. Gotta try to warm them up for the doctor. That name pronunciation goes a long way. When the doctor comes out and says it correctly they love it.

      Pronouncing someone’s name correctly is often overlooked and such an important way to build a connection. We even use the “nickname” space in our EHR to note the patients preferred name or phonics so we know how to address them visit after visit.
