I am from Nagaland, Longleng District.. India. Even though this is one of the smallest district and we preserve language and culture !! We have around 150 Gorkha families and 2 Gorkha villages namely Ladigarh and Shia Village within Longleng district. Above all Gorkha will find every corner of Nagaland..!
Nepal gov is incompetent, indecent, corrupt. Nepal people do not have the right to choose their own leaders, only allowed to choose party, the party chooses the leader. The parties only care about their self interest, they employ hunderds of party members usually their nearest kin, nepotism is rife, so all money made through corruption, loan from world bank or imf or other banks or donations are distributed amongst them selves it does not reach where needed. The tax collected is also swindled, it does reach where needed. when more funds needed these instituitions imf , world bank, (even india is a big fund provider for thess parties) they will ask the gov to re structure society as they see fit. The social, financial structure has changed so much that it puts a lot of pressure on the people. Fir e.g nepal has very strict and high tax rate, it squeezes money out of businesses, these tax officers are very corrupt and will harrass business owners year after year. The money extracted is simply swindled. No necessary repairs are made on the infrastruture. Bridges are not made, there still no phone towers in many parts of the country, still no electricity in many parts of country, no roads in many parts of the country. The international airport is so small its less than equvalent to domestic airports compared to other countries it was built in 1950s and any talk of expanding etc is only means to swindle more money. Some Politicians who do good for the country are humilitated and never given important posts afterwards. As people do not have right to choose their own leaders these so called thug parties will replace the members and install corrupt ones. We need to serious help to change this political thuggery. Why would you want the burmese gurkhas to return to nepal. I think they will be much happier living in burma. The effort and work you do in nepal makes no sense.

What do you mean by that?Do you want to ask gurkhas have their own state and division in Myanmar? We donot have gurkha state or division in Myanmar .Mostly gurkhas live in north part of Myanmar which is called Myitkyina city and in the middle part which is call Mogoke city.We stay with all kind of people in Myanmar.We all have our land or field or farm.some villages named with nepali language such as Rampur, Sitapur,Aalubari,Laburbari, radha gaau etc.There have temples of Gurkha Hinduism and also Buddhism religious. Young children are taught Nepali subject during three months of burmese school holidays.
