    Saudi Arabia is a country with a LOT of backstory and overall international acknowledgement. The birthplace of Islam. The cradle of Arabism. Today they find themselves at a unique time where they must coalesce the future with tradition. So much to discuss and it all happens on the world's largest peninsula. #SaudiArabia is up. Enjoy.

    I have a great idea: when you finish all the countries do historical countries. eg... Soviet Union, Byzantine Empire, Roman empire, Texas ......

      @demetrius9533 It belongs to Saudi, but due to its importance as crossways in the sea, the Saudis gave control of it to Egypt because of the war with Israel, ever since the Saudi government pushed the Egyptians to get it back, with no end. until 2016. it's now important due to the Giga project NEOM which is in the northwest of Saudi Arabia and contains parts of Egypt and Jordan, it's an economical zone with huge ambitions (500$ billion budget), and it will have a bridge connecting Saudi with Egypt to export gulf goods to Europe through Egypt.

    I send my love and peace to all of my Arabs brothers and sisters, especially Saudis from Iran❤ love is wise and hatred is foolish. If we want to live together and not die together, we need to respect our differences. All Europeans have come together and have made a powerful Union without saying "oh, you're a catholic, you're a protestant, you're a French or you're a German", but we muslims are still fighting over our minor differences. There's nothing more humane and Islamic than to create friendship and love among people. I'm Persian and honestly speaking I love all Arabs. May peace be with you❤❤🙏

      Also people mix salafi and wahabi.
      For any non muslim reading, in its complicated.
      But wahabi is a sect of the hanbali school. The 5 main school all consider each one to be right. These schools are differing in their founding scholars interpretation of quran and sunnah and how they make a ruling. Wahabis try to copy ibn abulwahab and take his views out of hand. So they follow the way hanbalis would make ruli go but the interpretation is a bit different. Although ibn abdulwahab would not be supportive of their acts as he was strict as many muslims started doing things that were haram. Salafi is anyone who follows the original generation meaning the companion of the prophets, their students, and the students' students. This is because of the prophet calling these 3 generation the best. So anyone can follow the 4 main schools but be salafi if they only follow the way of making a ruling. The main distinction between being salafi and hanafi and just hanafi is that lets say the original scholars of the school said something was haram. If we see their evidence and find it is weak it is better to leave it and not follow it. If you dont, its wrong. But someone who isn't salafi would still follow it.
      Most muslims are salafi by definition, and you can't necessarily be extremely strict as islam is against that. Though what many call salafism is either khawarij or wahabi. Khawarij are just people who think they are the only right muslims. And We have ahadith against this

      I find the entire passage of Isaiah 42 interesting although admittedly I am reading the New International Version English translation.
      Isaiah 42:1-4*
      1 “Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight;
      2 I will put my Spirit on him, and he will bring justice to the nations. He will not shout or cry out, or raise his voice in the streets.
      3 A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice;
      4 he will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. In his teaching the islands will put their hope.”
      The Arabian Peninsula in Arabic is called الجزيرة العربية Al-Jazeera Al-Arabiya which means the Arabian island. Because it is inaccessible due to the desert and water on three sides. Also the oases and towns scattered across the desert are like islands, as the Arabs would call camels 'the ship of the desert'. I have also seen the world "islands" translated as "coastlands" like in the Common English Bible or the Complete Jewish Bible.
      Isaiah 42:10-12
      10 Sing to the Lord a new song,
      his praise from the ends of the earth,
      you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it,
      you islands, and all who live in them.
      11 Let the wilderness and its towns raise their voices;
      let the settlements where Kedar lives rejoice.
      Let the people of Sela sing for joy;
      let them shout from the mountaintops.
      12 Let them give glory to the Lord
      and proclaim his praise in the islands.
      In other translations "the wilderness and its towns" is translated as "the desert and its towns". Kedar is an ancestor of the Arabs who is named in the Bible and the people of Kedar are the Arabs (definition of Kedar). Additionally the verse which mentions Sela mentions mountaintops.
      Here is the Complete Jewish Bible translation of Isaiah 42:11-12
      Let the desert and its cities raise their voices,
      the villages where Kedar lives;
      let those living in Sela shout for joy;
      let them cry out from the mountaintops!
      I'm just assuming this translation represents a Jewish understanding of the text because of the name, but I could be wrong.
      Isaiah 42:20
      You have seen many things, but you pay no attention;
      your ears are open, but you do not listen.
      The book of Deuteronomy did so as well.
      I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. [Deuteronomy 18:18]
      This is God speaking to Moses. The Jews said that the Prophet will be from the children of Israel, but when you read further,
      “No prophet ever rose again in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew with such great intimacy” [Deuteronomy 34:10]"
      The Prophet could not have been from the children of Israel. He must have been a gentile. Because otherwise, this would be a clear contradiction in the book of Deuteronomy. It can only be removed when assuming that the said Prophet was a gentile.
      The 'whom i uphold' part is actually said to be intentionally falsified. The original hebrew word used there was the name Ahmad, which basically has the same meaning as Muhammad.
      But if you change it just a little bit, you get 'whom i uphold'.
      some as the southmost part of the Desert of Paran (which scholars linked or identified with the Sinai Desert) or the entire desert, and others said that it is a collective name of a mountain range between the Zin Desert and the Sinai Desert.
      I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. [Deuteronomy 18:18]
      There are some important details provided in this short prophecy. We are told that this future Prophet will be similar to Moses (“a prophet like you”). We are also told that he will be a mouthpiece for God as he will faithfully relay all of God’s commands (“he shall speak to them all that I command him”). This verse also reveals the people from which the Prophet will
      arise, “from among their brothers”. An important question we must consider is which people does “brothers” refer to here?
      The prophet was a gentile. And the Prophet referred to here is Muhammad(Saw).
      It’s important to note that biblical geographers differ as to the exact location of Paran. However, they are unanimous that Paran is somewhere within Arabia. From Clarke’s Commentary on the Bible:
      He dwelt in the wilderness of Paran - This is generally allowed to have been a part of the desert belonging to Arabia Petraea, in the vicinity of Mount Sinai; and this seems to be its uniform meaning in the sacred writings. Strong’s Bible Dictionary also tells us that
      Paran is a desert of Arabia:
      H6290 pâ’rân From H6286; ornamental; Paran, a desert of Arabia: - Paran. Sebeos, a seventh century Armenian bishop and historian, when describing the Arab conquest of his time, wrote that the Arabs “assembled and came out from Paran” [5].
      Encyclopaedia Biblica, edited by Reverend T. K. Cheyne, asserts: “Paran refers to the Arab tribal names, farran or faran.”
      The Bible tells us that Paran is the very place where Ishmael dwelt: “While he (Ishmael) was living in the Desert of Paran, his mother got a wife for him from Egypt” [Genesis 21:21]
      The dwelling place of Ishmael was none other than Arabia. The Dead Sea Scrolls, which are dated to the second century BCE and represent the oldest surviving manuscript evidence for the Old Testament along with other apocryphal books, link Ishmael, his descendants and Paran to Arabia:
      "And Ishmael and his sons, and the sons of Keturah and their sons, went together and dwelt from Paran to the entering in of Babylon in all the land which is towards the East facing the desert. And these mingled with each other, and their name was called Arabs, and Ishmaelite."
      Hence, the Paran (or Pharan) of Ishmael was certainly in the Arabian Peninsula. In fact, we can narrow this location down further. Modern academic research supports the claim that Ishmael’s Paran was indeed in a specific part of Arabia known as Hijaz,
      modern-day Western Saudi Arabia. Irfan Shahid, one of the world’s most renowned authorities on pre-Islamic, ancient Arabian geography/history, stated that there was a place called Pharan in Hijaz, which belonged to the Sulaym tribe . Professor Haseeb
      Shehada, an Israeli scholar and professor, in his translation of the Samaritan version of the Torah suggested an identification of the wilderness of Paran with the desert of Western Arabia which is known today as Hijaz
      and when the Jews went to the Christ and asked for a sign he said children of men there shall be no sign except Jonah sign
      which is living three times when he was supposed to die each
      in the sea a whale sallowed him
      In the whale belly he was spat into the island
      On the Island a pumpkin grew on him
      So Jesus was
      seen eating fish and honeycomb after his crossing by the disciples
      seen walking after being buried and a rock was put on his grave by a women
      and a third which he will comeback on
      "The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh comes, and unto him shall the gathering of the people be." (Genesis 49:10).
      This means the Shiloh cannot be from Judah.
      In the interruption of 4:159
      ibn abbas said every jew will believe in the christ before he die even if he was falling from a cliff while he fall he will believe (that does contain believing in muahmmed which wont help him at time of death also the prophet talked said 12 jewish scholar enter islam and all jews will be muslims)
      Lastly John 16
      He promised a comforter priests say its the Holy spirit but the Holy spirit was with Peter with Elizabeth with John with Mary and it was described to be a man eight times "for He will come"
      a spirit is also a name for mercy that is a name of Muhammed names
      Some of you might say Muhammed changed the rules yet the Christ says if some one slap you on a cheek turn the other and in another verse it is said an eye for an eye and a teeth for a teeth
      Also its mentioned in Songs of Solomon
      Muhammad (PBUH) in the Bible. In the Song of Solomon, chapter 5 verse 16, we read in Hebrew: "Hikko Mamittakim we kullo Muhammadim Zehdoodeh wa Zehraee Bayna Jerusalem." It means "His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem
      where "im" is a plural form used by hebrew and Arabic for Glorifying

    What happenes to the 22%.

      @Rick K they make up far more than 22%, so I think they're included in the population totals for their respective regions and the screwup is somewhere else

      It does not matter where they are from. Poor animals end up getting slaughtered after being used.

      Anonymous get your facts straight. Humans overpopulated the Earth by consuming and over consuming meat, creating farm factories that pollute the planet. All animals are equal in my eyes. It has nothing to do with being sensitive, it is about being compassionate. I bet u love dogs and cats, have a child or nephew or a niece. How are they or you more special than any other animal that loves their young ones? kindness starts with being kinder to animals.

      Anonymous first of all I’m not your mate, second of all don’t say WE because I do not eat meat. Thirdly, my family’s roots come from a very poor background where all they ate was rice and beans and used animals milk to make cheese and drinks without having to kill that animal or it’s offsprings unnecessarily. and
      Guess what, people in my family village were just fine without having meat and lived till they were 100. Now people die of cancer young. Take a guess why....
      In fact eating meat became a thing once everything got industrialized and meet production and dairy companies make people like you think that meat necessary for human consumption when in fact it’s not. You talk out of your ass since you still use primitive words like sacrifice so I will stop wasting my time talking to you. Do me a favor and read on the subject.

    As a German person who visited Saudi Arabia last year, I really liked it there and it is very different that I thought
    1- the politics made me think that it is a dangerous place but in fact it is one of the safest countries i have visited + the people there are very friendly and most of are open minded unlike what I was expecting.
    2- You can visit Mecca city but not the mosque area, usually they don't ask about your religion when you go to the mosque too ( this is what I heard)
    3- The country is modern and better than many other countries and it has a lot of things you can do ( I stayed 14 days )
    4- Overall I liked it a lot but the only problem is that so crowded in the big cities ( unless you like big crowded cities ) + visit it in the winter the summer is like the hell and camping in the desert is very great experience ( I regret that I didn't camp there, I just stayed for a few hours )
