Large Scale Optical Switching in Google Data Centers

In this informative (and fascinating) presentation, Google's Kevin Yasumura describes Google's MEMS Optical Switching technology that has been deployed in their data centers. In fact, this MSEC 2022 presentation was one of the first public descriptions of this technology that dramatically reduces their data center power requirements.
