It’s funny because the Mandarin for “buying things” and “burying things” are both “mai dong xi” so at first I was like “China are you burying a corpse”
One year later and I'm back Btw did you know that Taiwan's Seiyuu is the same as China's? Betcha didn't know that! Ok imma disappear amongst TH-cam clips now
When I was drawing my classmates as hetalia characters i ran out of guys so I genderbent the nordics, baltics, poland and egypt. Then i made China Macau Hong Kong and Taiwan the same girl classmate. As china she has a ponytail, as Macau pigtails and glasses, as TAiwan hair let down, and as hongkong i drew her as a punk tomboy
Once you've fell in this fandom, you can't escape no matter how hard you tried (belimey i tried) So welcome to hell,i guess. The world will always be a reminder that hetalia fandom is everywhere
Using their own language is what makes the songs more fun! Hetalia is the only anime I can think of that has no characters that I dislike, so I just followed your 3 steps happily with a smile. China is just wonderful-aru!
Coming from the Homestuck fandom, sorry ;w; But I like reading the Chinese lyrics! I'm studying Chinese at school (even though I'm an awful student). I love China's singing! He had my favorite voice in the Japanese version! :D
You're welcome! It's sung in both. All the character songs (except Japan's) have both languages mixed in. Ni hao and the yura yura xiang you lan acchi wo xiang you Ian are in Chinese.
*just putting this here* I have Chinas personality, I cosplay him sometimes and I have his accent perfected. I wish the apple store had Hetalia songs on it, I would download Russias, Frances and Chinas, and listen to them non-stop like seriously
CHINACHINACHINACHINACHINACHINAAAAAAAAAAAAAACHINAAAAAAASOOOOOOOOOOOOADORABLEEEEE. Almost as cute as Yasuna. And omfg when I watched the ending for paint it, white I'm like AI YA!!!!!!!
I don't get why people are arguing over a simple thing such as the 'country language' used in this video. Japanese, Chinese, English or whatever it is, no real Hetalia fans WILL complain. This is what they will simply do: 1. Dance to the song and singing along(What I did) 2. Learn the song WITHOUT the Eng subs anyways(What I did) 3. Even if they don't get a word what the video/song is saying, after having 3.24 of craziness, they will of course search end subs else where.(What I did) Just chill.
after hearing the fem China version of this song, even though China's voice actor is a girl, her voice sounds manly! and yes, China's a boy! many people confused it. :3
For the first YEAR of watching Hetalia, I didn't know China was a guy until my girlfriend sent me hot pictures of him and I was like "Why are sending me pictures of male China" and she was like. "Wtf lmao he is a male" and I was like "W haT??" And we spent 2 days arguing over it.
Sanjay Datta i thought he was just gender neutraled or something ahaha XD He kindaaa looks male AND female to me at the same time, so i just stick a big "..." label on his face
I talk like china all the time, and even y dad's caught on, which is funny cause he has a slightly deeper voice than china, but he has an awesome Chinese accent! :3 I look kinda like china and kinda have his personality too! XD
I love this song, but I am so sure that they aren't singing Chuugoku, but zhongguo, which is mandarin for China. If you look up the pronunciation, it sounds more like what they are singing compared to Chuugoku.
[[Well, of course they don't! (it's been a while since I've explained things like this, give me a break if I'm a bit wrong. I don't think I am. ;v;) There's a reason why China says 'aru' in the Japanese dub, but not the English dub. It's because a Chinese person speaking Japanese would add the suffix -aru. It's a stereotype, of course, and that's why they included it in Hetalia. The more you know.]]
When Chinese person is speaking Chinese you can't really hear this '' - aru'' at the end of the sentence. You can hear it only when they speak Japanese (and probably only a Japanese person could really say that something is wrong). That's why there's no ''- aru's '' in English dubbing - it wouldn't make sense since it's only Japanese stereotype.
Um... excuse me, but if you don't like the song then why are you even here? Not that you don't have rights to be here or anything like that. I was just wondering exactly WHY you are fighting with every person on here. They're only trying to help explain things, but you are being, in a way, rude, which causes them to be rude to you. And about the whole Dub vs Sub thing, I believe they both have their own upsides and downsides and should be respected. Thank you for reading this if you did. Pasta.
thats the thing, i done even kno O_O idk if im good at it or not because- this is gonna sound weird- but i cant sing comfortably if i hear myself, so i have to use headphones and i dont trust my family, they might be trying to spare my feelins :P but thank you for your kind words
China is awesome. Now lets, listen to this five billion times in a row and see what happens. As I guess Chinese really do stay up all night watching video websites (I'm 100% Chinese lol)
I just sang right the refrain a little tiny bit. At everything else I failed XD And I love how China sings "sekai saita no" and "sekai saikou" :D That's an awesome part if you ask me :3
omg! edward's played by Romi Park who's like one of my favorite voice voice actress! She's known for playing young male tsunderes, Switzerland is one of them :)
Then why are you even here? Watch what you're saying, if you wanna listen/watch Hetalia in English then WATCH THE FUCKING DUBBED VERSION. Oh, and don't you dare call China gay.
Whats wrong with subs? They have more episodes than the dubbed. BTW THIS SHOW WAS MADE IN JAPAN NOT AMERICA so you'll hear more Japanese then English. I don't think you even are a fan of hetalia. So I wouldn't be arguing with someone whos actually a fan. AND HOW DARE YOU CALL CHINA 'GAY'!
i see China hosting a party in his house and singing and dancing to this to entertain. forcing Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea to join him. . . . .i danced to this when i first heard it... :3
The suffix "Aru" Was first in the manga as it was a Japanese stereotype of how the Chinese talked. It IS in the subbed version as well, considering it was originally Japanese & since it was stereotype from Japan it only made sense that they put it in the subbed version.
It is so sad China is killing its nature... "The bigger of world". I wish you strength, Chinese people!! Strength to save your fauna, flora, water and air. Please, wish for strength for us here in Brazil too.

Not underrated. I think the word you're seeking for is "underappreciated." China is a great guy. :"(
It’s funny because the Mandarin for “buying things” and “burying things” are both “mai dong xi” so at first I was like “China are you burying a corpse”
Really??? Oh god XD now THIS is why chinese pronounciation preciseness is amazing
Mai dong xi can also be selling things, so china is selling, buying and burying things
Shadow Kylin get u a man who can multitask like china
Darn it, Hetalia is going to turn me into a China otaku.

One year later and I'm back
Btw did you know that Taiwan's Seiyuu is the same as China's?
Betcha didn't know that!
Ok imma disappear amongst TH-cam clips now

CatFreak Katie Hatsune Yuki Kaida is the narrator too
CatFreak Katie Hatsune

TheWonderfulLifeOfAnime thats for sure
Once you've fell in this fandom, you can't escape no matter how hard you tried (belimey i tried)
So welcome to hell,i guess. The world will always be a reminder that hetalia fandom is everywhere
You can’t escape
You sell your soul to hetalia
TheWonderfulLifeOfAnime Once in, never out. You might get away for a little bit, but Hetalia will find you and bring you back.
Using their own language is what makes the songs more fun! Hetalia is the only anime I can think of that has no characters that I dislike, so I just followed your 3 steps happily with a smile. China is just wonderful-aru!

You're welcome! It's sung in both. All the character songs (except Japan's) have both languages mixed in. Ni hao and the yura yura xiang you lan acchi wo xiang you Ian are in Chinese.
Gosh, i love china so much :D :D :D

China is a guy but is voiced by a girl in both English and Japanese dub
CHINACHINACHINACHINACHINACHINAAAAAAAAAAAAAACHINAAAAAAASOOOOOOOOOOOOADORABLEEEEE. Almost as cute as Yasuna. And omfg when I watched the ending for paint it, white I'm like AI YA!!!!!!!

China totally rocks. And so does this song! I love all the hetalia character theme songs! But this one is one of my favorites! :D
I still have it stuck in my head. Ever since that fateful Saturday
This is what should be on the radio.
China is an awesome character. Doesn't matter if people confuse chinas gender. China is china. That is what being an otaku is all about.
this is my favorite song...
so catchy~~~
Ni Hao Chuugoku!

it's just that they want to make him sound funny with the '-Aru' to make it sound more Japanese familiar than the real nationality.
