I mean marriage in Hetalia is more of a country’s because one with each other or combining into one so there a couple why you could interpret the song my favorite whys is that 1. I mean, to be fair, at the time this song was written Ukraine had border territory with Russia that was very open to returning to Russia, this naturally expanding the Russian border and we saw that under the Obama administration when Russia para military occupied several border towns with consent from those towns via democratic vote. It kinda seemed like there were several regions of Ukraine which wanted to be annexed by Russia but that process would have to be negotiated. That seems to be where the song was coming from but with the way the Ukrainian government is mow, especially in their radical efforts to join NATO, in Hetalia terms, its like Ukraine started becoming friends with and wven becoming enamored and obsessed with America which made Russia nervous on account of her debts to him for energy. In a preemptive move, Russia is trying to drag her away from America but she's still wanting to be friends with him and the other European countries. America is trying to hold onto her but he can't really attack Russia directly because he doesn't want to start a third world war. Not to mention Ameria isn't doing too hot himself right now and has mountains of domestic issues including ALL OF LATIN AMERICA getting through his border and his economy under intense strain. So the song is a bit outdated but it still shows her character accurately. She is desperately trying to hold it together despite immense pressure.
