It's rare to watch a intp girl since they are all probably having regular jobs and hiding at home like me. I appreciate this analysis very much bc I relate to her but I never knew why. I also look all over the place like her and people always seem in pain when they are near me. I also never talk about personal issues and I always like to make weird connections for some reason. I love to surprise people with crazy one liners and see them processing the joke. I would love to not need that validation though

I'm a INTP-T and I would say that I often realize that other people are uncomfortable around me, more because that's the way it has always been since I was a child. But I honestly don't know how to not make people uncomfortable. I don't even understand what I'm doing or saying that is making the uncomfortable. And if I just walked up to people and asked what I was doing that was making them so uncomfortable that would just creep them out even more.

I am an INTP too. If you compare the faces of her and Johannson, the latter one looks much more vivid. And she rolls the eyes while thinking, like I do. I guess, that is maybe your problem here too.
I learned to look in the eyes of the others, while they are speaking, that mimics emotionally attachment. We may feeling uncomfortable then, but not the others.
And I recognized, that my laughing was seen surprisingly artificial. So I made laugh more artificial and make mouth very broad while laughing.
      Test this with a camera!
I hope, I gave new ideas, if otherwise, excuse me!

I’m an INTP-T as well. I would say people feel uncomfortable around you because you feel uncomfortable around them. Atleast that’s my experience anyways. Most people in my environment/surroundings are extroverts, and so I rather not talk at all than do the whole small chit chat ordeal. I notice that when I do attempt small talk, people take to me much better and feel more comfortable around me because they see me as another normal being rather than some aloof, odd person. Anyways, who cares if they are uncomfortable around you? You’ll find your people. They aren’t the right ones. I have yet to find my tribe, but my little animal friend is more than enough :) totally recommend.

I'm an INTP - T too, For me, people say that I often say too much information to a degree that the topics sounds deep even when they expect the reply should be simple. For example, A person asks me, "Do u like chocolate?"; "I would say I like that cacao seeds was the origin of chocolate, I always take this brand of choconut and eat it with.. And etc." I think the other person would have expected a normal answer, like "I like chocolate", but honestly, I always talk like this becuz when a person asks about my likes- I thought that they expected something more from so I add a tidbit about it at the same time I feel appreciated the person asking me about my likes so I became invested and motivated to share more. I guess that's the reason why everytime my fam and I are in family gatherings and events- whenever there is no topic to open up, people who know me will always ask a question; and somehow conversations starts too trickle, despite them being weirded a bit- they began to like the conversation for a period of time and sometimes stop me in between. But, even after they stop, I speak up again to continue where I left off and naturally they just put food or anything to distract me for a bit.

@chromebooktest1128 that's extraverted feeling or Fe, the last function on the function stacks for an INTP. Fe wiring is all about harmony in the external realm and it's also one of the reason why INTP feel the need to be validated by other people therefore they'll try to please others by doing things for them. In this case, the INTP is speaking and then connecting the conversation to something random so that the group might garnered some ideas for possible topics to continued the socializing hour

    • @CricketRodeo
      @CricketRodeo 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

Interesting! I think you're giving them some logical reasons why you like something (eg chocolate), because for an INTP, that's how we think and make our decisions, with Ti. We don't seem to be very conscious of our own likes and feelings (Fi) until they bubble up after being suppressed for too long (since Fi is our 8th function, bottom of our subconscious). We like to have reasons for our likes, to somehow make sense of why we like them, maybe even to justify it being our preference. An INFP on the other hand (1st function Fi) are conscious and confident in what they like and feel, and that's enough for them. They don't need a bunch of logical reasons for it.

he says, "now read it with more emotion"
i read it again with what i "think" is "more emotion" but ive taken no classes and have no experience besides class clowning.
      he says, "no. MOOORE EEEMOTION."
      idk wtf hes talking about.
      so, i responded, "no."
after a few seconds pause hes like, "alright, were done here."
that was my last audition lmao
in class (when very young) and for friends and family i was as animated as a cartoon character...
unless it was something that i had to do for someone else, like reading in class or that wasnt impulsive.
i could make jokes and be disruptive but when it came time to do what i was supposed to do, i was paralyzed.
eventually i overcame my anxiety by recognizing the physiological symptoms that preceded and learned to control and then prevent them from manifesting at all, that took me about 10 years of consistent effort.
i could now do those things you mentioned as my self esteem is now internally based.
to claim an absolute, in my opinion, would seem to demonstrate and underdeveloped comprehension of the relevant conceptions.

@@chromebooktest1128 Regarding that last question, it depends. If someone offered me a million dollars to do something in front of a large audience, I'd do it. But not something that would hurt someone else or myself.
Your cognitive functions dictate your behavior. And they cannot be changed--they are wired from birth. Just because you had anxiety didn't mean you didn't have the functions that enabled you to succeed. There are external influences that can amplify or diminish the expression of the functions. And likewise just because one doesn't have the functions doesn't mean that they can't do something. But fighting the functions will become exhaustive and take its toll over time.
And people will not move toward a long-term activity that requires fighting one's functions. Although admittedly many in Hollywood are screwed up and see shrinks. So maybe I should retract my statement about no INTPs in Hollywood. Except that the personality type is so rare that I still think it unlikely. And I have theories about why that is, but for another time.
One thing about INTPs that is seldom discussed and understood is introverted sensing, Si. INTPs are extremely self-conscious and embarrass easily, and lack confidence. This is one reason why they are seldom in the spotlight and seldom famous.

You might be a female INTP....a lot of the stereotypes around INTPs are more closely related to men, because most INTPs are men. Generally females tend to sway more towards the harmonizing/feeling Fe side than men do, especially if your upbringing and/or current job or role requires it. So in that case feelings will test higher in your function stack than for most INTPs, which might be confusing the test. Same happened for me. Took me about 5 years of study to finally be certain I was an INTP.

    • @choppers3474

@@theyfukenwmesubliminally You're probably an infp then, as intp's don't really choose to make things awkward. It just kinda happens. However that's only if they happen to say something the room around is offended by. Under pressure, they only really know how to say what they think and, this can lead them down one of two fates. The good ending is where people admire them, for being real and saying what they truly think. Or, the bad ending, where they go too far and say something super unsavory, and people get upset.
If you want to go one step further though, infp's use Ne in conjunction with Te, so they have intuitions about what's true and simply what is (without necessarily doing the research to properly confirm), whereas intp's have Ne in conjunction with Fe, so they have intuitions about what is right without necessarily cross-referencing those intuitions with reality, by asking people around them and taking these answers seriously. An Intp is probably more likely to say something unnecessarily rude before then going, "should I say that sort of thing? Maybe not." It's like a playground for them. A playground I'm thoroughly entertained by.
Then of course, Infp's have Fi with Si which means that, from what I understand, things are kind of right or not right (in other words "valuable or not valuable") to their system of feelings, and there's not much "I might be emotionally wounded right now". In contrast, Intp's have Ti with Si which means they know facts to be true or not true. Or N.Y.T. (acronym I invented, "not yet researched"). So, Si is the np's practical function because it knows it's convictions, what is and what isn't, so it's knowledge can always be implemented. Ne on the other hand can only make connections and assumptions about what is possible. Think Aubrey is an Intp.
Coming from an enfj. You inXp's have gotta be my two favourite types! Let me know if you agree with all I've said!

The entire analysis is simplistic. And Fe is wrong. Fe4 is consideration and throughtfulness. You would never say things or in the process of doing parodies hurt others or be insensitive. And you would never put people on the spot. This is Fi all the way. She is edgy. Her whole demeanor. Even with Fe4 there is a warmth that she lacks. Lots of people tell stories or remember things from their past--that's hardly proof of Si. Si is so much more than that. She claims she doesn't plan what she'll do. But an INTP would never go out cold. Are you kidding? That's where Si comes into play. Self-consciousness, nervousness, lack of self-confidence. Function stacks are bad and 16 personalities is even worse- time to read source material, as Jung meant. And no, not because he's the original, not because ideas cannot evolve but because that man's perception is truly once in an epoch kind of genius. You know how when you develop a system that functions quite well but if you try to modify it, it spawns more problems in a not very meaningful way and works less effectively? Jung's observations, conclusions, perceptions are just that, it's quite an end source in of itself. While he does encourage his ideas to be used, his must also be known. Realise that few things are linear, a straight up hierarchy - hopefully we can start thinking in 3D instead dumbass binary.

INTJ. She is Te-Fi. She confidently tells what she likes of dislikes and is aware of what the other people are thinking (or that it is something to know in the first place - so no Ti). She is always excited, when she can tell people about some weird physical things that she get to do - that is Si, but she only does it, when it is something extreme, unlike people with valued Si. Dominant Ni - most of her interviews is about her talking about weird situations she was in because of her strange behavior. Ni people, unlike Ne, decide on their own how they do something. With inferior Se, she first does something, and way later she gets to be informed (passively) from other people (maybe), that other people do not do things like she does.

As INTP-A I'm quite confident and brave like her after years practising public speaking and working in a field which required to communicate with clients daily. Being confident, showy or diligent, well-speaking is the thing an INTP can learn.

@@TrangNguyen-iu9uo it's need to be they are so confident now. The past young INTP, most of them is broken. To be a confident again in the future without feels inferior, they need thousands time to practice and supported environment. They must be really comfortable enough to sharing like this girl.

I think she's an ENTP. An INTP would have way more of a Ti filter before bursting out the random Ne stuff, like Aubrey does. And Fe inferior would be more aware of not making someone uncomfortable, Fe third... doesn't care as much, at least not so obviously. They're just gonna joke their way around it.

I think it's the other way around, Fe inferior like I have as an INTP makes me feel empathetic with people when I know they feel bad though I'm normally oblivious unless they explain their deepest motivations with me. An ENTP has a better understanding of people's feelings and do care about them, sometimes too much because they tend to overuse it. I do think we have a natural strong barrier to raw Ne as Ti dom but take the youtubers Jschlatt or Pewdiepie ie, they've been typed as INTP as well but they are good entertainers, we like dark humour and challenging people logically via awkward questions. She still could be a socially awkward ENTP tho.

@@minjoolee2231 you know who else has existential crisis? Literally every type. She also says "she cannot tell when she makes someone feel uncomfortable" which is big with IxFP's. If someone handed you a bag of 99 red marbles with one blue marble and you pulled out the blue marble, would it be correct to say you have a bag of blue marbles? No, that's insane. People do the same with typing. First off people lie about themselves, and people believe they are X when really are Y. People also will see someone doing something extroverted and say "that must be an extrovert!" But then they spend all the rest of their time doing introvert things. If you actually listen and post attention, she 100% has Fi as her first function, but nice try lol
