That's because slipknot is not that talented....joey was a beast yes but to have 3 guys doing percussion is stupid when it only takes 1 guy to do it all

The drums have some kind of sample blending. It has a lot of compression too, those ghost notes sound like rimshots. He's still unbelievably good, with a very modern drum sound. Props to Estepario!

Jesus……there are a few people on this planet that are at the top of the mountain at their respective art. We all know who they were (Hendrix, Bonham, etc)….and some of us know who the ones doing it now are. E. S. is, in my opinion, one of the ones ascending to the top. He deserves a shot at filling the void that Jay’s departure left behind.
