Ruger LCR Front Sight Replacement

I found the front sight on my Ruger LCR to be hard to focus on when using my sights for precision shooting or a flash sight picture. I found a large fiber optic replacement front sight made by HiViz Sights. Here I will replace the front sight for you. You need some basic tools, a 1/16 roll pin starter punch, a 1/16 roll pin punch, and. hammer. I bench block helps but is not a necessity.

I have two 1/16th inch punches and neither even come close to fitting through the hole in either of the aftermarket sights I bought from Ruger. I wonder what size it actually is?

I did everything you did, and I had the opposite luck, and ultimately the pin simply will not go in easily. Light strikes on the pin and it only goes in about a third, and won't go in farther. Also removing the factory front sight took literal prying. I wish I had your luck with the dang thing.

Do you find the gun is more accurate to aim with this sight?
