hi live and laugh birds! ive been watching your videos for a while, its amazing! :) and um recently today, I got a new bird which is a corune and looks like your kermit bird. the cage i got is 30.5 wide and 6 ft tall with a stand. do u have any tips for me to get my bird to trust me? i got my bird from a breeder i think.
You think lol, yes I also have the same problem with taking my bird but I’m working on it by just sitting with him everyday and feeding him millet spray while slowly getting closer to him. Btw he’s a canary soooo
Late reply, but just take it slow. Birds are prey animals, so we need to think from their perspective (imagine yourself getting taken from your home and over to live with strangers that you don’t know). Don’t think this helps much, but I hope it does in some way.
Try doing some thing chill and clam on the first few days then after a week get them used to your hand And let them examine it Then try making it hope on perches after your bird is okay if your hand is around the cage then try Making step up ! This is what i did to tame my budgies Please don"t push them or force them they can easily Lose the trust You should also try placing the millet beside your finger so it's more tempting for them to step up! I also suggest you get a bird friend for him (depends how long you are usually Out of your house) birds are animals that are playful and love company (my bird named lemon was lonely and after we got another bird for her she started going beside him and never left his side! I went to check on them yesterday and they were together) but yeah! Sorry if this is like a essay but I really want your bird to have a happy long life! Good luck for you

I would love to see one of the birds possibly learn to roll over. It is tricky but super cute! I feel like Kermit would love it. Then the woman came over to the section and when I saw her again she heard me telling my mom that I wanted to hold it. AND SHE LET ME HOLD IT!!! Yay!! Your bird(s) will be so happy!!
its been 4 months, do you have one yet??
@@demandablue ya , i have a cockatiel name jade , just got it 2 weeks ago , he is awesome , he is not tamed yet but everyday i do come closer ,
btw i only save up to get like 5 or 6 toys the rest of the money was given to me by my parents
@@ACBIXI now its over a month. Is he good with you already?
@ kinda is . He sits in my hand if i have a treat and sometimes let me touch him ... i started his training very late idk why but he was too scared of me till the first month . I am trying to target train him but doing that (for me) is hard . Also i have some wild parrots around my home and they only show up around very early in the morning. They make call sounds while they are flying and it drives him nuts !!
I'm so happy I'm getting a cockatiel because I love ducky so much
