      HI Ant
      Just had my version 2 short tails done and met Bob and the gang great bunch .
      Omg people have no idea in person they sound devastating but boy don't know how you wanted it louder with HFC as well !!! Think they sound 2 loud now but I knew what I was getting in to dont regret but my drone is defo not sutle anything over 2.5 rpm in my case its booming !!! But in the end worth every penny mate thanks again for your reviews 👍 which gave me the incentive to go to Tarmac sportz.

    • @sportzntouring
      @sportzntouring  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hypothetically if you went over 70mph, the drone gets louder. Honestly, it's crazy loud when you pull hard. The boot vibrates. It's not far off straight piping with HFCs... But if you're on stock cats it's actually reasonably civilised.

      @@sportzntouring Yea that's fine with me. I had a custom exhaust on my last car, the drone was bad at any speed but it was worth it for me. • @sportzntouring
      @sportzntouring  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on what cats you have and what speed you're doing. On stock cats I found it was fine, actually sounded how I thought it should have from factory. Sports cats make it much louder and yes, you get much more drone at certain motorway speeds. But doesn't bother me personally. It's always going to be a matter of taste though.

    Hi Mate! Have the same car on black color from 2019. Currently I have an Invidia Gemini V2 under my love, but I’m not satisfied with it. I want to buy the short tails like yours and HFC as well. Which one do you have? Any Check Engine light issues after installation? What about the ECU reprograming? Nissan told me I will loose the warranty if I make something like this😬 Thanks for your answer in advance. Congrats for the results!

    • @sportzntouring
      @sportzntouring  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nice!! For the full review of the drop-in air-filters, HFCs, EcuTek +30hp +40Nm tune with pops n bangs, plus throttle remap, check this video out... th-cam.com/video/juktGPp-F4k/w-d-xo.html
      I also got the ECUTek Connect with controls and custom dials visible on an app... see here: th-cam.com/video/MICEfKZe8Eg/w-d-xo.html
      You really do feel the difference... So, with stock engine being 339hp at the crank, this is now more like 369hp - but the sharper throttle response makes up a big part of the overall experience being much more sporty.
      You will likely face warranty claim issues, however, technically (in the UK) that can only be on claims for parts that fail due to the changes you make... So, in some cases you may have to fight your corner if the item that's failed is unrelated to the modifications you've made.
      You may get O2 sensor warnings after you've got the HFCs on. The alarms on the newer ECUs seem much more sensitive to exhaust/emissions related sensors... Abbey Motorsport sorted that for me.

    I got this exhaust installed, with everything stock, and I can confirm a lot of drone inside at 3k and a lot of vibrations in the boot. As everyone has its own idea of what is loud and drone, I just measured the noise, and I got an average of 80-85 db, with peaks of 92db with full throttle at 2.5 -3k rpm. So whoever wants to take this exhaust, need to make it's own considerations whether is what is looking for.
    Apart from that, the quality is good, apart from the included gaskets and clamps (not the best).

    • @sportzntouring
      @sportzntouring  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I did say it's loud. Each to their own of course.

      @sportzntouring I know, but you have sport cats, and in a previous comment, you said "On stock cats I found it was fine, actually sounded how I thought it should have from factory". That's why I put some real measures of the sound level, as everyone has it's own idea.
      By the way, I do like the sound and the exhaust, don't get me wrong, I just need to get used to something that is a lot more than what I wanted. Thanks.

    My problem with the Tomeis and Nvidias is that they're way too obnoxiously loud. And I love the sound of the stock exhaust on my NISMO. Just need it accentuated. Pops n bangs is not my thing personally but the Muffler delete is definitely the way to go

      For later models, stock cats with the short tails is probably about right. You may get some vibrations in the back so may need a bit of extra sound deadening in the boot.
