These verses from Psalms and Isaiah sound so beautiful and so much more powerful in Hebrew. It is so exciting to be able to understand such well known passages on our own - thank you!

This is the best way of teaching us Biblical Hebrew. We all get it in our own way.
    God bless you all

Thank you for this lesson! Specifically thankful that you read Psalm 146:10 in this lesson - it's one of my favorite verses, and it really helped me to hear it today. ❤

I didn't know that the slight distinction between yiqtol and wayyiqtol is marked solely by a sheva or a kametz, as you teach it in 7:11 Thank you once again for this wonderful work. Blessings

Unless I am quite mistaken, there is an inverse of vayiqtol for the imperfect tense, the vaqatal. So it seems that both veyiqtol and vaqatal exist and mean the same thing. But I'm guessing there is no veqatal, but vayiqtol is mandatory for perfect tense?

the v particles reverse the tense. yelex: he will go. vayyelex: he went.
halax: he went. v-halax: he will go.

תודה רבה בת ואברם. גדול שיעור.
Impresionante lección , hermoso repaso de contenidos. Y me ayudo a entender vayiqtol es pasado, katal es presente y yiqtol es futuro. Que El Eterno los colme de bendiciones, los prospere y los guarde en todo momento. Desde Argentina שלום וברכות

¡Gracias! Lo animo a que revise nuestras lecciones de gramática para ayudarlo a comprender las formas de los verbos en hebreo porque las formas en hebreo no son lo mismo que los tiempos en español.
