Good interview to quickly learn about our immune system. I appreciated the distinction between balancing and boosting the immune system as well as the explanations how Vitamin C, D, and zinc work to balance the immune system. The list of herbs and roots that support the immune system was helpful (rosemary, oregano, thyme, turmeric, ginger - to name a few)

Great discussion! I'm surprised Dr. Moday didn"t touch on Essential Oils and their part in the healing process of our health as it pertains to the gut and the Immune System?

Great questions! It is important to follow the daily limits for your age and depending on the amount of sunlight you get daily. The same goes for how much vitamin C you are consuming in your diet. You can get these tested by a provider or you can research the adequate amounts online.

@@GoodnessLover thanks for your reply, however it is not possible to get tested adequately for vitamin deficiencies. Allopathic tests only look for certain vitamin deficiencies for example: potassium they do check but.... if one doesn't ask for vitamin B12 testing(example again, and it is extremely important to get checked for vit B12 deficiencies, the lack of it it is highly linked to the development of alzheimer's disease) they simply don't do it ( and I am talking standard tests). Vitamin D as you explained its not made by our body ONLY manufactured through our skin when we get adequate sun shine, so for someone my age 55 living in California who gets some decent amount of sunshine ...are 5,000 UI enough? Vitamin C I don't believe most people intake enough vitamin C through nutrition in order to support the immune system fairly, so for an adult my age 2,000mg plus glutathione enough to meet a fair amount? to be honest due to soil depletion of minerals and therefore depletion of minerals and vitamins in our food ... I believe supplementation is a must!
