    So much information, and so important. This should be taught in every school and college. This should be what is coming from CDC and NIH instead of pushing a dangerous bioweapon on the population. I will need to listen to this again..

    Namaste ~ I’m delighted you keep bringing Kiran back on, what a treat for us! He has such a warmth about him and explains seemingly complex things in easy-to-comprehend ways. The message about how people with already compromised health has a slower immune response is very helpful to understand. Bless your hearts.

    What a brilliant interview about the gut microbiome. Kiran was incredible at explaining this subject so clearly. The discussion thought provoking. Although there were lots of matters to be concerned about such as how we are killing our soil and how antibiotics are adversely affecting our gut microbiome, Kiran gave me hope that we can improve things by making conscious decisions about how we live and what we eat. Thank you all so much. I will certainly be sharing this video with my family and friends.

    Preliminary research indicates that optimising vitamin D status and including fermented foods in one's diet both improve gut diversity and composition. Active vitamin D status is affected by the gut microbiome so the relationship is bi-directional.

    Is there any protocol to heal the gut so that a peanut allergy dissipates? Kiran is phenomenal

    • @GoodnessLover
      @GoodnessLover  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! Research on this topic is in early stages, but there does seem to be hope for overcoming a peanut allergy by modulating the gut microbiome. Supplementing Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG has been shown to improve the effectiveness of Palforzia, an oral immunotherapy created to treat peanut allergies. Additionally, FMT is being looked into for its potential to treat peanut allergies. You can take a closer look at ongoing research here: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7761723/.

    The practice of intermittent fasting , fasting , fruit meals , diverse local food .. having 8 different vegetables, 2 lentils , yogurt , fermented pickes ..raw vegetables in chutney ..salad ..the works..all in a single lunch ..everyday.. rural living ..playing in the mud .. a big joint family to energize the biome cloud ..emotional sustenance for each ..it was all there in the Indian way of life.. what you are now learning..was learnt ..digested..me a way of life ..the reasons forgotten ..the western influence for nuclear families ..cities..sanitized living ..
    alas ..we are at step 1 again to wrest the system back to the one that made for mental and physical health..strength..
    our 70 year Olds can work more physically than our 40 year Olds.. strength diminishing.. study the old way of life in India.. follow it ..

      Totally agree, when i was growing up in india..we used to play in dirt live with many people in the house ..i was looking at our old pictures ..before year 2000 everyone was slim ..no one had tummy..they are like models now ..but now if i look at young kids in my family ..they are obese ..over weight ..having dental problems at age 10 ..mind blowing ..i used to play in my backyrad ..walk on the soil barefoot..small garden ..dust ..now live in a world .where i cant even touch the soil ..and ground even if i touch it ..then its full of round up ..my gut destroyed so much ..with all this stuf..luckily i do some fasting to fix it ..even in india..things chagned now ..with all toxic food of vegetable oils ..sugar food etc....
      my father is close to 70..he got very less health problems than many ..he goese everyday to his village and spend time in his farm ..i used to tell them why you go everyday ..you waste money etc..but now i realize..that is waht making him healthy and live longer..he never complain about knee pain ..on ther side most people of his age suffer with all kinds of problems ..my mom was healthy as long she was living close to the nature ..once she started living in concrete houeses ..she start gettting those issues ..ofcourse diet matters ..but nature mattters a lot ...I used to remember my grand mother at the age of 60 she used to walk fast for few kilometers ..when she moved to city to help grand kids ..and living in city houses ..she started to get sick ..no one figured out back then ..but she still lived close to 80..I am almost certain ..out generation may not cross 60..even if we cross..then there will be tons of health issues ..

    I have a question, I have a CIBO breathe test that I need to take. I have had conflicting info on preparing for the test. I saw a video where the man was saying not to take probiotics for 2 weeks before. My test is only asking that I fast for 24 hours before the test. It doesn't really say to fast anything before that 24 hours. The test is very expensive and I don't want to waste my money. Is there anything I should be fasting before the 24 hours that can interfere with the test?

    • @GoodnessLover
