Hello ladies and thank you for joining us for the PENULTIMATE PROVERB!
Proverb 30, which I think might just be my favourite so far, just brings it all together.
All the powerful themes we've been learning over the last 29 days are summarised into short, snappy phrases that quickly remind us of everything that's come before, PLUS...its so poetically and beautifully written.
The grave, the barren womb, the dry earth and fire...(Proverbs 30:16) four things that cannot ever be satisfied!
I don't know why I love this so much, maybe because it reminds us that it is good to be content, to be satisfied with what God has seen fit to provide us with. That desiring what we can't have is pointless and fruitless.
I pray that we all can live removed from vanity and lies, with neither poverty or riches, lest you be full and deny who God is! (Proverbs 30:8-9)
