For me, one of the best things about this video is the look of joy on your face as you are listening to Uncle Larry play. yeah pencil is all you need.. just have to also make sure the nut is not binding.

That wasn't his cherry special he favors tho. Didn't know he also had a white one. Great shootout. I've been weighing which to get myself. An SG Spec or LP Spec. I find SG's more comfortable to play sitting down, which I do a lot. So that plays into it. Wider body.

It’s just got to be setup right, the nut is normally the tuning issue every time because the slots aren’t cut right.
Hi, I had to use Corn Starch, nobody had a pencil, small kitchen next door. Buddy opened my case, asked if i needed with my problem ??? I thought he meant....not another guitar.......took a week for him to pull me aside to talk......I never even saw real Coke in my life, we had good laugh over it.
Does yours still have the original frets?
No it’s been refretted
@@justinmeyersguitarist very cool, and as we learned from Mr. George Gruhn a few months back, it matters NOT if it has been refretted. A non-issue perpetuated by non-collectors. :)
