Fear hold me back so much. I guess it’s fear of looking foolish around strangers or social anxiety. I have so many *ideas* to be an entrepreneur, but they all require social interaction and maintaining relationships. That’s some I really struggle with.

I'm not huge on David Goggins. I don't hate or have any disrespect for him. His success is evident. But morally I have a much different stand point of the world. That being said, statements like this are a testament to the fact that his opinions definitely need to be heard.

While this is undoubtedly true, people who talk like this always forget that there is a real world. Hustling doesnt serve any meaning. If we do it we basically just a leech on society. The real heroes out here are the ones keeping the world running. And yet the do not get recognition in the slightest nor do they get the compensation they deseve.
I think that most of the greatest people that could ever exist were too lazy to achieve their dreams but we are all humans and only hard work really pays off you never know until you get there
I often wonder on the fact that his words resonate with so many people, and some people disagree. I know some are contrarians or just haters without reason, but I really want to talk to the people who are successful and don't agree with his words. I wonder what kind of insight those people have.
Obviously his views are a bit on the extreme side, and people born into wealth would most likely be the only successful group of people who disagree. But if you were to ask any first generation wealthy person, or anyone who has achieved major success in a field of their acquaintance, they will always tell you that you have to do things you don't want, if you want to become the best: which is Goggin's core belief.
Choose to be the person you want to be. Ask yourself how many times in your life have you actually tried at something? I can tell you for me it was extremely rare. I coasted and let decisions be made for me for a long time. Learn what being at your lowest can teach you.

I’m still going to enjoy my shitty foods, but I make myself work for it now. It’s not just enough to buy a brownie, I have to burn it off and suffer before and after eating it. If I want seconds, I gotta double the pain. I won’t go on some Jordan Peterson all beef diet, but I’m going to drastically improve my physic. And then people are going to make fun of me and say I need to eat more, because they don’t want to deal with their own insecurities or weight. It’s weird how everyone wants to drag you down to where they’re at, but just ignore them or call them out on it. Don’t let them stop you g
