Nah.. It's just something out of the blue for goggins.... He isn't used to doing it... This asshole can do this all day if he trains for it.

I've tried this exact push up workout. I consider myself in pretty good shape, but I was only able to get to push up 21 before I had to take a breather. It's seriously tough!
I saw this comment last week and I said I'm gonna try it
Bro I only did 13
I'm a bit embarrassed but yooo. The hardest 13 pushups I've ever done in my life for sure
Yo logré 24 Flexiones, con dolores corporales y sin llegar al fallo, con 15 años, pero, aún así creo poder luego
I tried this first couple months ago and no matter how much i tried i ended up with min and 30 secs. Surprisingly only after 2 weeks of doing 50 pull ups a day without any time limits, I was able to finish the challenge. It is amazing how only 2 weeks of pull ups can double your strengths.
It's definitely no joke! I have yet to complete it. Definitely a great test of endurance!
brother I can't even get to the 5th pushup
Mr goggins inspired me. I was a fitness freak until knee surgery I've been depressed for a long time. But after hearing what he went through with his legs . I'm now hitting the workouts hard again. Time to move forward
I just broke my leg a month ago and had surgery. Can’t walk and I’ve watched 20lbs of muscle go away so fast. Been hard to be helpless and watch years of muscle leave my body. I start physical therapy in a week or so. Ready to hit it and get back better then before. Stay positive and remember everything happens for a reason even if we don’t understand it. You will be mentally stronger for it. 🤙🏻
@@blkstang4830 muscle memory 💪🏻 you'll have that muscle back in no time
that is great news. Don't over do it, start low but keep going!
Improvise, adapt and overcome brother!
Keep pushing! You got this.
Had the privilege of being taught this workout in 8th grade about 10 years ago. Our weightlifting coach ended every class with a round of this and by the end of the year he gave us tshirts and extra credit if we finished it. Granted, I’m sure we were far from perfect push-ups but it was my introduction into mind over matter, hard work, and discipline. This was a fun reminder I’m gonna have to try it again. Great workout
i remember doing this for drumline conditioning, we eventually did the whole song after about a year of constantly doing it, it sucked but damn was it effective
W coach
Youre lucky your coach pushed you , our coach just gives us some light workout (at school i mean)
Great !
What’s the song name? I’ve watched this video twice and didn’t hear it. Did I miss it?
My 8 year old sister has been in gymnastics since she was 3. She does this easily every morning. Her whole class does this at the end for arm conditioning. It’s crazy how good of shape these young gymnasts are.
Nah they just have half the weight we have to push ups bro. If I weighed 20kg instead of 60 I’m sure I could tear through it easily.
@@Sznchester Its easier with low bodyweight but still not easy.

@@DayZeroGaming
Goggons was a Navy Seal!
@@DayZeroGaminghe was in the airforce first then navy
u type "basic" is funny - because theres nothing basic about this . the average person in the army would struggle doing it
Goggins is just straight up made from metal, like he laughs when he feels pain, mad respect and God bless him.
The crazy thing is there are guys on TH-cam that have done this 11 times in a row no break between! Some of the sickest most impressive shit I've seen a human do thus far!
the videos your talking are guys who had their arms tucked in, and also had the butts in the air. i just came from a video of army guy who did it 10x in a row, and his form wasnt anything like the form u see here. big difference
I don't even have to attempt this to know that it's tremendously difficult. It'd be like simultaneously planking for 4 minutes on top of a decent set of push ups.
Do it right now
there is no tommorow
No do it now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is no tomorrow!
You will BE the best or you will BE nothing
At first I pulled out only 6, I quit because it was too hard. But right after I told myself to get at least 10, and so I did. The long one is especially a killer.
Nice job with them videos. Make sure to tighen your ass when doing pushups to help keep the back straight.
and so you did. day by day I'm realizing that's all there is to it, nothing but to do it
It's a mental warfare in the end, not a physical one. We always tend to forget, if we put our minds to it, you will achieve and succeed in your purpose. Laws of attraction or the 4th dimension or quantum physics.
@@daveyjoseph6058 you just do the thing they tell you you can't, and you realize that it is that simple.. and always was

When I did basic training in the military and had a pack inspection, our sergeant found someone's pack still with stuff in it, he grabbed the pack, emptied it in the middle in front of everyone, and we all had to do this exact workout with pushups and squats as a thrashing.
Good.
What was in it
private pile
What was in the pack?
Their was stuff in the back. For those asking. It was supposed to be empty.
His extremely great form is the incredible and praiseworthy thing.
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 good job Goggins!!
I couldn’t get passed 9! This dude is a machine. He’s very inspirational
Past. I think some people need to spend less time exercising and more time reading. The grammar on these threads is a disgrace to the English language.
@@mrlloyd2599 facts
@@mrlloyd2599 sorry Einstein
@@mrlloyd2599 it’s actually Passed. past is in reference to time.
@@michaela8121 I can see why you'd think that, but "past" is actually the correct word to use here. It is used as both an adjective and adverb. You only use "passed" as a past tense instance of "pass".
This Guy's Mental Toughness is something else..
Amazing
Perfect form is something worth watching.. what a beast he is
It's such a treat to see him do this. This workout kicks my ass. I can't make it to 30 yet, I fall out at 18. What's also great is that the guys video he is watching is the one that got me started on this. Awesome
Who's the guy he is talking about? Video doesn't show
Igor Voitenko
Igor!
The floor and the rug regretted getting in Mr. Goggins way as he did those push ups. Even the phone was intimidated when Mr. Goggins was yelling how much fun he was having.
Bravo
I've been doing these on dumbbells, let's me get into the bucket. Definitely a great way to get a burn going.
Love this challenge its not something completely crazy but still hard as fuck even if you are very fit.
Love doing this exercise. I use small Parralette bars to go deeper in the down hold. Really kicks in hard💪
dude has found the key to turn the pain into fun.
Absolutely brutal. If that's the first time he's attempted this and pulled it off, he might be the only guy on the planet that got through it first try. Impressive.
Best form I've ever seen. Straight as a board until failure.
He must feel so good in that body.
He is completly destroyed. You just say that, because you dont want to go through all that. He must feel amazing in his mind, but not his body. And even his mind is pretty broken
His body is broken beyond belief, especially his lower body
Will do sir!
The pushups were perfect.
I did it wow what a great feeling now! Being trying to complete it from last 1.5 to 2 months
Damn man
Love it
His home is beautiful and he made it working really hard. Stay hard.
Brutal!
been doing this challenge daily for 2 years I also do dumbbell squat/military press, great routine. I do my pushups on my fists though due to wrist mobility injury.
Challenged myself to this a couple of years ago waiting for my twin boys to arrive. I could only manage 12 on my first attempt and spent the next 30 days trying to crack it. I couldn’t profess past 12-14 or so for ages then started practicing paused push ups to build strength after each attempt. I got stronger and proudly. Completed it. Can’t say I did them as well as Goggins but I did it. Will try this again I think. It feels great to achieve a goal for yourself. And something I should continually keep chasing.
Which song is it?

Beautiful form 😊
Good exercise to build shoulders
Used to do this with my students with push-ups, squats, and leg lifts. Great workout!
good thing you bring this type of training in school, we have nothing close to this
So a mod for anyone interested: I did the challenge and made it to 1:30. I would have finished by going to my knees but was too tired to think of it. An hour later I went back and reversed the order (eg. went down when she said up) so that more of the tine is spent in high plank. Made it to the end, but it was tough and I didn’t have a lot left. Good way to do it for those without the Goggins fitness level.
On day 2 I did 1:30 too. I dont know how, I did 10k push ups in the last 3 months and I do like 100+ daily now
Nah man you gotta try it normally
It starts at 1:30 bro
Successfully done
Been doing this classic for years - I keep coming back to it after not having done it in a year or so and then get obsessed with training to finish it, which usually takes a couple weeks of extra pushups and song attempts. If you haven't done it I massively recommend it, it's much harder than you'd think it would be. Another good one is the royal marine pushup test, which is just 60 pushups done with a pause at the top, done at a specific tempo (there are videos online that will have the sound for the tempo in them). Again it sounds easy but is surprisingly hard because of the static hold aspect. Nice to do these every month or so to keep up some muscular endurance in the shoulders/triceps/chest.
Dropped out at 17. Shoulders couldn't take it
I have PTSD from this. My soccer coach made us do a bunch of variations of sally up
Hats off to Mr Badass himself 🎩 🫡
And with perfect form
I saw a guy do this to that song for like 45 minutes straight ...
It burns chest and shoulders i love the feeling of this exercice. Almost finished it
This workout is just carzyyyyyyyy. Will take a while to master!!!!!
Beast mode💯💯
I remember doing this as part of warmup for karate sessions. It's a killer lol

maybe work on strengthing your lower back and core, seems like that's your weak point, not the pushups.
