- Cam Waters’ passion project, a 1974 Ford Falcon XB Coupe, has finally been unveiled!
Waters first purchased the car in 2018 from friend and sponsor, Colin McQuinn. The project has been overseen by Rides by Kam, which is owned by Rob Zahabi.A Supercar-based engine, at 745hp at 6800rpm yielded from 369 cubic inches of small-block Ford, has been fitted into the Aussie two-door body.

Well Cam, your a bloody rare commodity. You drive Supercars Sprint Cars NASCARS. Your not new age, your genuinely old school and unlike most of the drivers in Supercars you are not afraid to show your true allegiance. Possibly the best body shaped Australian Ford ever made. Then you made a rough diamond shine. Dam I wouldn't mind doing a flat out lap around Bathurst with you in that. So pleased for you. Congratulations on a top build
I'd argue the XA did it a little bit better, but nah. The Falcon coupe body really is something special, especially with fat rubber in the back

Not a ford guy by any stretch, nor have I ever really been a fan mixing eras (modern running gear in old cars)… but this, this is amazing! A credit to young cam and everyone involved

I may or may not have a stiffy after hearing this absolute gem fire up; she’s visually stunning, but an absolute aural orgasm!!! An XB Hardtop has always been my dream car, and hearing that Cam was building one a few years back had me excited; move over XBOSS, I’ve got a new favourite…….😍😍😍
That is the world’s sexiest ford coupe……class …style….glamour….power…a credit to the builders ….its stories like these…..that bring back memories….its been nearly. 40 years and I still miss mine

Fangin' down the road in over a ton of metal, and they rekn take your best hand off the wheel to change gears (90%+ are right handed).
But we're all wrong having the wheel on the RHS...

(Very similar body to the 1970 Ford Torino 429 Cobra-Jet)

That's killer! From what I remember from Top Gear Aus driving a Supercar in Sydney, my biggest concern was getting enough cooling for day to day driving, but if they figured out how to get air conditioning working, then that was probably worked out already. You make sure to enjoy that beast

The Best 👌 build on any XA , XB , XC FORD COUPE that l have seen . Perfection. Front end & rear 4 link suspension, air bags ect ect .

I'm not a ford guy but that is a gorgeous build.
Good choice of colour too. Every bit of it just looks awesome.
Not the biggest fan of the Alcantara interior if I had to knit pick. But it's practical and easy to live with and still looks great so it's hard not really something to complain about.

The car looks sick! I always said the XB coupe was the best looking car from Australia, I really love how you’ve done the interior. The only thing I would change is the transmission.
When I see a XA/B/C it always reminds me of the near V8 sounding rumble the 250 engine made at idle

Looks just like an old Capri! Just a bit bigger! Lovely motor mate! You ozzie guys are lucky you can find cars of this age that arent just rusted away within 10 years, like they are here in UK and Northern Europe! (Generally) MORESO the older cars up to early to late 2000s when they started to get anti-corrosion abit better..

A lot bigger ! I've owned a Capri GT in Australia, it was very common to remove the 4 cly or V6 and put a 289 Windsor V8 on it , it fit perfect and upped power 10 X , later Ford of South Africa bought Capri body's from Ford Australia and installed a Ford Australia 302 ci Cleveland and a Borg Warner T5 , they were sold from Ford South Africa as the Ford Piranha !
