I thought that Rolf really cared for Liesel and when he joined the Nazis and was holding a gun to the captain I remember thinking: what is he doing? now that I am older I really dislike that guy. he betrayed her. On the other hand, I guess he did not have a choice. He was brainwashed by the Nazis. I guess it is difficult for a 6 year old child to understand about these things.

I know personally the mountains are alive with the sound of music, but I don’t like that movie. I ❤ Richard Rodgers whose birthday is the day before mine, different year. He played Some Enchanted Evening on piano ... I had the music but lost it. Have not found that particular version, since. A guy working with his roofing crew in the neighborhood in CO, heard me play it, asked if I was rehearsing for a performance and were tickets still available. The most touching compliment I received about my piano playing. I found a person playing it on TH-cam once, but not since. I hear it in my head.
