quick question: color coding -this is only for inbox.. what about all the folders in outlook mailbox? i dont wanna set the rule for each folder, is there nay tip?
Thanks Outlook offers like 17 colors to pick from to conditional format email. However I've noticed that not all work. Have you had any success with picking them all or modifying the custom one?
I'm using Outlook 2021 installed on my laptop. I follow the directions exactly, using the "Condition|From... and selecting my wife's email from the list. I have selected a red font. ►Problem #1: I click ok one everything, and close out the settings, and nothing changes. ►Problem #2 I read somewhere, that it may be necessary to move the rule to the top in the conditional formatting list, but the "Move up", and "Move Down" buttons are greyed out. -- Any suggestions on how to fix either of these problems will be greatly appreciated.
@@TheDigitalLearningConsultant My IT dept has it set up so that because I manage several inboxes I cannot use the conditional formatting tab which is a nuisance. Any way to get around this?
How do I do this if my boss sometimes emails just me, but often times, emails me in a group (not cc). I see the “where I am” and can click either the just to me or to me in a group. Can I select both of those?
Is there a way to auto change the color of the text in the body of an email? As in if someone sends you an email in light orange font and it hurts your eyes you can set a condition that any emails from that user will be changed to black.
I’m thinking that you could create a category for emails that come from a particular team and then set up a rule so that all emails in that category are a certain colour. Leave it with me and I’ll see if I can sort a fix
I am able to color code my emails in the Old Outlook Format, but I am unable to color code my emails in the Outlook (New)
@@MelodyJohnson-p3j I’ve not moved over for this very reason. Was hoping for an update

@@maryrasch8687 I’m not quite sure what you mean? Is there something in the text of the signature that would trigger a rule?

How do you do this if it's for a team of people not just one individual. Do you have to do this individually

You're out of focus. Your shoulder is sharp, but your face isn't. Eyes should always be in focus...
Thanks man. I wear glasses when I edit now...
