As long as all your policies are set up correctly etsy would have covered the cost of refunds for late delivery as long as the order was less then $250. Also during the strikes I put warnings in several places in my etsy shop and extended the time expected to deliver. I sent out about 400 orders mid November to mid December and had no problems as buyers where expecting orders to take longer.
Hi Amanda, yeah Etsy did cover the cost of refunds through the purchase protection programme I believe it’s called. I did put warnings on my shop too but unfortunately not everyone saw these/took notice/accepted the fact that the strikes were going to create such a backlog and subsequent delays 🙁 It’s just one of those things! At least it’s all back to normal at the minute and we don’t need to worry about the strikes anymore… for now! 😂

Hello Milly I just found your vlog and i just love your style! I recently started my own vlog as well. It was one of my small business goals for this year. You did an amazing job on your first vlog... lol for me mine I think was just a hot mess lol. But hey atleast its a start right?? lol. Do you share what you use to record I havent checked yet but I dont remember it mentioned in the video forgive you may not have yet. I use my phone and find it frustrating lol so I think I need to invest in a better option for recording lol. Keep up the great work! I will be here in the comments cheering you on!
