I was SO OBSESSED with The Ballad of Star Butterfly when it first came out, but haven’t heard it in... a very long time. HAD to go listen to it in full again after this, and besides a couple hiccups, I still had the song down pat. It’s just such a rocking bop!
Just goes to show you everything looks different from someone else's point of view. Star didn't want everyone to assume she was a sterotype princess but in trying to avoid that she ended up sterotyping someone else. Lesser known people are not always as simple as many would assume.
As much as I liked this episode I was never really sold on why Star had to confess in that way, we never saw anyone ask her about glossaryck or the book before and when she says she couldn't do some "puff piece", that's more related to an interview or written article.

Well he was the princess best friend and I guess he had an invitation from her, I mean if you whould have a best friend with a big reputation in something (royalty in this case) you could expect be with him/her in some important moments for them.
and another reason the show sunk with starco even tho the episode is great i couldn't the fandom just hammering starco everywhere, it wouldn't have me hate it if the fandom would tone it down jesus this is one of the reason it didn't work out for me in the end even tho i like the show
