This car either in four cylinder, or v6 has a lots of good grip on the road, nice handling in all narrow corners of the road, camry driving is like a luxury car something like u are driving Mercedes-Benz.
Last year purchased a new 2018 Camry le and the transmission is jerky and shudders. Dealer says it’s the CVT transmission. It’s an eight speed internal transmission. Before you buy one take it on a long test drive city and highway and make sure the transmission does not bother you. I wish I had not bought it but I am stuck with it for now. Buyer beware!!
I'm not American, I feel like I'm getting more satisfaction out of delivering pizzas here in Australia than sitting in that factory for however many hours they do a shift
my old camry hit over 300k original starter alternator front end shocks etc only change radiator spark plugs tires brakes and surp belt thats it... killed the car by putting lucas trans fix in it otherwise still be driving ... Got the new camry now 18 rides like a lexus extra smooth but the old one feels like it took pot holes better when new ?? but time will tell hope to see 300k plus more!
My dad has Toyota Camry which is 1999 model with 310K. Still running like a child - It needs regular oil and filter change. Toyota vehicles are reasonably priced for average quality vehicles.
this car is soo basic that i think its highly embarrassing for anyone to buy them just because they do not offer as close to what other brands give. GM for example offers Wifi in the car, OnStar, XM radio, Android Auto, Apple car play and gives more variety in their models from turbos, AWD, higher quality interior, and going beyond by a total redesign of any model, unlike toyota that just changes out the look of the bumper and a slight body style and calls it 'new'..
There is a clear difference in quality between Toyota made in Japan and made in US/Canada. One made in North America simply lacks in quality compare to one from Japan. I can tell this from first hand experience by working at the Toyota service center in Korea. 6th gen Camry were from Japan and had near zero complains. There was like one noise complains while 7th gen Camry which were from the US factories had so many noise complains compare to previous one it wasn't even funny after sometime. Still, good quality though
Unfortunately the camry became small and narrow and spare parts are difficult to replace such as the refrigerator air conditioner and sensitive as a compressor and many others and the price is expensive
