The only problem that I have with this series is that the deck discussions are so short, it was the best part of History of Yugioh and History of Jank

Unfortunate for fish otk that edison is right before thay get Scrap Archfiend. That was crucial for the deck since Scrap + Coelacanth + Mist Wurm is exactly 8000
somehow joseph managed to convert a coelacanth and a fishborg blaster in hand into a dark magician, a metal armored bug, and a resolved compulsory evacuation device on the field. amazing
the coelacanth frog deck is truly the spiritual successor to the ben kei otk deck, in the way that if it can't find a way to the colossal fighter armory arm otk line, it either just spins its wheels and dies immediately on the crackback, or changes its mind and establishes a full frog board in which case it becomes the single most unbeatable deck in edison format. i love it
Zeta Reticulant is such a neat card, it's a shame it never found a home. Maybe it could feature in a sub replay or a dueltaining at some point? Kind of bizarre that it's not an Alien, though.
It fits quite well in Kashtira. Lvl 7, loves when things are banished and can be normalled off of Kashtira Birth. It's a good body for xyz so you can keep your other Kash monsters live for their effects.

Coelacanth is legitimately one of my favorite cards in the game. It's an incredible boss monster, and even though Doug's anti-literacy agenda is killing this country, it was amazing getting to see the Coelacanth negate in action.

Doesn't Coelacanth win frequently with armory arm + colossal fighter OTK? Might have been better to use a manual simulator because rules changes prevent that in master duel iirc.
